Live right or live fun.

Generally, there are 2 types of people who live 'right' and who live 'fun' (with the exception of those who can balance the two out). Would you rather live your one and only life, 'RIGHT' or 'FUN'? Why or why not? How has your life been going so far.. do you strive to do the right thing all the time or do you strive to live a fun life all the time? How do you define a 'right' life and a 'fun' life?

I strive to balance the two. I think it is possible to live right and have fun. I don't feel that just because a person lives a quote on quote "good" or "right" life that they can't have fun. I personally have lots of fun in my life. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going places, seeing things and just enjoying my life.

I think that for me it has always been striving for happiness, but with that happiness it took/takes doing the right things. I can't somehow see me doing the wrong things intentionally and being happy with the bad results. Therefore, doing the right things for me is the goal in achieving fun.

Right balance is important because all work and no play can make a person a bit dull. lol

I think that you have to stop and think about what stage you're in during your life before you think about whether you want to be responsible or still live just for the fun of it. When you're a child I think that you should be able to live for fun without having anything troubling them or having to cope with anything that you should only have to cope with when you're an adult. When you do grow up though I think that you should start to live life a little bit more responsibly, however you should never lose the sense of fun that you had as a child, otherwise you will find that your life starts to be a little bit boring.

A very intriguing question to say the very least and one that is rather tough. Can't they be one and the same? Of course, the words "right" and "fun" can really be left off to a wide degree of interpretation by anyone when you really think about it. There are times where someone could think to be right, but someone else would rather be appalled with it. Then someone's fun would be someone else's boring to say the very least. I strive to do the right thing when it really counts. And I do the fun thing when the right thing is really not necessary. If you live life by one extreme or another, you really will lose your mind. Granted, for some of us, it is not that much to lose, but really, there are just a lot of times where we got to live that balance. A life without balance is not one that I want much to do with.

Well if you live for fun, that could get old real fast and turn ugly. Look at Charlie Sheen. Living right could also become boring. I think it should be somewhere in the middle. A little of both is a good balance.

I think that I would rather live my life right because I would want to have a great job. I think that living life the "right" way means that I live it with having a a great job with my kids and wife. Having all these bills that I don't have none of them that I have to pay extra for late payments or anything. I think by living it in a "fun" way is just going out to parties and having fun without having a family (wife/husband and kids) and not having any responsibilities and just going out all the time.

I think when I was younger and would have been living like this it would have been for fun. I think that a good plan for anyone is moderation is all things. Not to the extremes or intense. Just a moderate lifestyle mostly without alot of excitement or activity. That would be nice.

I don't know what is right? Within the law? Making good money? raising many children? Or is it possible that right is fun? Harming no one including yourself, living without stress, warm in Winter, cool in Summer. Aren't these things right and aren't they fun? I guess I can't really answer this question.

I believe that learning to live "right" will lead to having more fun. I've lived my life for fun in the past, and found that the more i did so, the less pleasant my life became.

I can live right and have fun at the same time. Living rightly doesn't exactly mean you will not be able to have fun anymore. In fact, how can you have fun when you know that what you are doing isn't right and would eventually foul up your life. So i would better live right and have some fun.

Right life means living according to moral standards of society while Fun life means living according to one's personal standard. Yes each of them do differs but for me i cant say which is right between them. I have been living all my life according to the moral standards of society or should i say im living a Right life, well there's nothing wrong but sometime i feel bored. I have thought how about living life with my own standards would it be so much fun and enjoyable? Well, i still cant do that today coz im living with my parents. Soon, i can live my own life.

WEll I raised 5 kids so had to do the "right" thing. So now my kids are all grown and my husband and I are deciding its time for the "fun" to begin! So to treat ourselves, we are going on a cruise for our Xmas gift to each other.

I can't live my life doing the wrong things coz I know they'll keep eating me inside till I make things right again. So yes I choose living the right way. I would love to have fun but I think the right way of living is more important.
