You have to be careful with who you choose to date and maybe later on choose to marry. If the person seems like they will have a hard time with commitment, don't lay it all out to them. Never give someone your everything unless they promise to spend the rest of their life with you.....

i think it is more important to feel and to see that a person is worth risking everything for. people can say they like you, promise to go to the moon and get stars for you but then not do anything about it... thank you for your advice... i wish everyone finds their best and true love...

So true. We should be careful in choosing the one we're going to spend the rest of our life with. Someone who you know can be trusted and won't break any promises he/she did. :)

i would agree with that.. but then a promise is just a promise. i would say that words can be easily said, what you have to do is to know that you of course would need to feel your partner's commitments.

That is why you have to know the person first before you commit yourself to the other person. Dating and boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, meeting members of family are some ways you can check if he is really serious with you.

I get what you are saying. The sad thing is that even after they promise they can still go back on their word and break it. However I think that what you say is the best way to handle it because we can never know for sure...
