No, it is not a scam. It is perfectly legitimate and safe and will not compromise your PC. How much you will earn depends on your location and how long you leave your PC on each day. I have made around $9 each month for the last few months and payments are automatic, prompt and without hassle. I believe that they only pay via PayPal.
It is not always easy to be approved. It can take a month or longer but, once you are approved, you will start earning right away.

It is good to know. I am very worried with my computer performance if I download the software. I see the help page about the payments and I think I will receive a good amount with it and the PayPal is not a problem to me.
Do you know what the criteria to be accepted? I saw this information about the time too and I won't to wait this much, but I think I have no choice with it.
Do you know if the program do something similar with the malware programs? Thanks for your help.

It most definitely does NOT do anything like malware programs. It uses your spare processing power and Internet connection to test the speed with which websites will load on your machine but it does this without using a browser. The work is all done in the background and while you are not otherwise using your computer so it doesn't impact the speed of your PC and the data which it receives and sends is completely separate from all of your personal or sensitive data. It cannot and does not slow down your PC or compromise it in any way.
The criteria they need varies and depends on your system, processor speed and Internet speed. They need a wide range of machines and speeds, both slow and fast, in order to test and report on the information that their clients require. At the moment, I know, they are particularly interested in peers which use a dial-up connection (since very few people still connect to the Internet that way).

I understand. You help me a lot owlwings. Thanks for everything.
They will need luck to find people with dial up connection. It is very old, slow and uncommom nowadays, and the people who use this kind of connection, normally don't use internet to earn money.
Just another thing that occurred to me right now: you said it use the spare part of my processing power, but when it does that, it doesn't make my processor to work harder, what could reduce its lifetime? Thanks again for your help.

Gomez peer is paying.. I have been paid multiple times already by it. I just don't know how fast they will gonna turn your account to be active. My cousin's account has been pending for a year now. I don't know if they change the rules but I was so fortunate that my account became active before the new rulings happen. If it does so.

I am hoping for it. I am a very luck man I thing, I should play on lottery!
I have already been actived by the Gomez Peer. I am earning a little cents per day now, just wait and see if I will not have problems to receive it.
I am Brazilian, but I don't know if it is just a coincidence to me to be accepted so quickly. Maybe it is a good idea to tell to your cousin try to download the new version now. Thanks for comment.

I started to use it a few minutes ago. I could have luck this time and be accepted today, but I think I am asking for too much, haha. I hope you can be accepted by them in no more time m4ndr4ke.
Just for curiosity, where do you live? I am from Brazil. Thanks for your comment.
