My family is important to me as I learned in life that when you are down and weak, only family members can stand up for you and ties could never be broken as blood is really thicker than water. For you guys, how important is your family to you and why?

family is the most important and the only treasure you could bring to heaven. for me, above everything else in this world and second to GOD, family is the most precious treasure that i have, and i always thank God for that. you are right, blood is thicker than water. i experienced it when i got pregnant out of wedlock with my first daughter. coming from a conservative country, that situation is not so acceptable and would left you bad in the eyes of many. but besides what happen, my family is there, they never leave me and help me to get back on my feet again and start a life worth living. they help me in raising my child and they are with me through it all. i am so glad that i have them in my life.

thank you. yeah, a lot i know will resort to that thing, but it was never on my option. when i learned that i am pregnant, i am so certain too that i don't want to settle down yet, so the only option i have is to remain single and have a baby, and i stand with my decision. the guy was ready to marry me and accept the responsibility but i have a different priorities with my life that time. getting married is far from it. so i have to face whatever consequences that's lying ahead of me, because after all, it was my choice. and i am so glad that i stick with it, and i never regret with my decision. because right now, i already have a happy family, i found a responsible and loving husband, and two beautiful daughters that gives me everyday joy.

I agree that family are very important, as they will be the ones who will always be there for you no matter what. Your friends will be able to come and go throughout the course of your life, but your family will always be the ones who are constantly there in your life and able to support you through any difficult times that you might have in your life. You should always tell your family that you love them, because they will be the most important people that you ever have in your life. Don't take them for granted.

yeah ghuyz family is very important part of our everyday life. It helps us improving our personality and shaping our life.It teaches us the value of love, affection, care, truthfulness and self-confidence and provide us tools and suggestions which are necessary to get success in life.Family is a place where you can be yourself. It is a place where you are accepted for what you are. These is where you are completely tension free and everyone is there to help you.So it is very important for each and every individual to give importance to their families above anything else and enjoy spending time with family members.

yes i agree with you that the family very important and that blood is thicker than water...yes this is the ideal but unfortunately not in my family. there is sibling rivalry among us four siblings. we are four sisters ( all women siblings ) and all grown up and matured individuals but we have not completely out grown this rivalry among us. we are constantly in conflict with each other but in spite of all these we are still a family.

Yes, I agree with you dorenski, that family is very important. From my family I experienced what it is like to be loved and cared for. My parents are always there ready to lend an ear whenever we have problems. They are my anchor in times of troubles and they never judge me when I commit mistakes but instead ready to encourage me to stand up and move on.
My parents taught me a lot about generosity. They are always willing to share our food to those who don't have any thing to eat. My siblings were my playmates when I was a kid. They also help me with my assignments when my mother is busy doing the household chores.
Now that I have my own family I can say that I am blessed for they are the source of my joy. A joy that I felt in the inner core of my being. The kind of joy that is long-lasting. My family also serves as my inspiration. They are reminders of how precious life is because they are all a blessing, a gift from God to me.
