I'm not a good cook but I enjoy cooking Chinese or chinese inspired foods. I enjoy making stir frys and often just use whatever is in the fridge or cupboards and experimate bascially, so I rarely use a receipe book.
One dish I do like cooking which is Japanese not Chinese is Teriyaki beef and I make the sauce from scratch and I always enjoy this dish when I do it

Carribean foods are what I'm experimenting with right now. I recently made a couple of rum cakes and this Carribean zucchini bread. Now I don't know if Carribean zucchini bread is different than any other, but it really was good.

It is not special per say, I just like some of the spices that you get with that type of food. It's yummy!
Here in the US Kelly you can find some Carribean places to eat. But I always like to try new things so I wanted to try a curried chicken or something like that. I think it'll be good.

I've always wanted to try Carribean food, but I must honestly say that I don't really know what the food is like. Where I live in the UK there are no Carribean restaurants so it would mean travelling which sort of defeats the object due to the added cost of transport. The reason I've not tried it myself is I know some ingrediants are not easy to come by and I wouldn't really know it I've cooked it correctly.

Hi patners!
I do a lot of cooking and can cook pretty much almost any type of food from several different countries. I can create dishes with left overs too. I do enjoy cooking and savoring the different types of foods all the time.

I guess, i have been cooking some foreign foods already, at home. I cooked carbonara and spaghetti which are of Italian origin. I cook stir fried noodles, which are of Chines origin.
I think it would be nice to cook foreign cuisines. Its the ingredients though that are hard to find , because some could only be found from the places of their origin.

I love to cook all kinds of food. I've made japanese, indian, chinese, hungarian, moroccan. I love trying out cooking new kinds of food.
but my favourite food to cook is New Orleans style. I make the best Jambalaya and Gumbo you can get in South West England.
in my personal opinion

hehe. when I make my Gumbo, the more the merrier.
I don't seem able to make it in portions suited to less than about 8 people. it only feels right making it in the biggest pan I have, filled right to the top.
a small gumbo is a sad thing.
that's why my freezer is usually full of the stuff, and I'm always giving away tubs of it to people just after I've made it. everyone at work gets a message asking if they want me to bring some in for them. they all seem to love it when they have it.

Yes, I enjoy cooking different dishes wether foreign or not. But I like to know what ingredients are going into the meal. I sometime buy pre-packaged foriegn meals but will look to see what ingredients are written on the pacakge. I like to cook Chinese food and Indian food, not so much pizza because I do not eat too much cheese for health reasons. _Derek

the beauty of making your own pizza is you can use whatever you want. and you don't need much cheese to make a pizza yummy.
I like to make a bread dough, use a smear of tomato paste, some fresh tomatoes, peppers, fresh torn basil and spinach, sliced onion, garlic, and even with just a small amount of goats cheese crumbled on top it will be delicious, and fairly healthy with all that fantastic fresh veg on it.
some pizzas have no cheese at all.

I love cooking foods of all kinds and am always looking for new recipes from everywhere. Mostly, I like Italian and French. But any kind of Asian food is great and delicious. I love Greek, Mexican, German, Hungarian, Indian as well. I like to try recipes that are simple and interest me from many cultures, as in the Belgian Waterzoi.
Easy for me to do is spaghetti and meatballs, pizza and most Italian dishes. Anything of Julia Child's French cooking recipes is great, such as her beef ragout and Pomme de Terre potato casserole. Greek Avgolemono and salads are easy.
Love Hungarian goulash, Swedish meatballs, tacos, enchiladas, spatzles and red cabbage, cause they're not too hard to make. I've even made homemade sausage.
But, notable failures are sushi, Ming Tsai's mom's dumpling wrappers, homemade tortillas. A lot of work and my talent wasn't so good there. I love lumpia, but have never tried to make it.
I guess I just love food and will try to make any recipes that interest me and are not too hard. Then they become part of my repetoire.

I'm just a "professional eater"! Bad joke, I know. But I do love to cook a variety of dishes and I've learned a few techniques to enable me to do so.

yes it is difficult to find foreign ingredients and easy to get a cooked one from shop but rather if you try to find ingredient by spending a little more than your usual food then it is possible to make so many famous dishes and it will be cheaper than cooked one.

I don’t cook very often. I like to cook, but the hours I work make cooking impractical for me most of the time. Thankfully, my dad loves to cook. I work nights, so my dad will usually cook something and leave it on the stove for me. I wish I had time to cook more, because I would certainly cook many types of foreign foods, since foreign foods such as Chinese and Mexican are some of my favorites…

When my daughter was small(she is going to be 40 in October) I used to cook nearly everything from scratch. I made bread and noodles. I tried chinese food and loved it. I made the sauce that you put on the ribs. It is so good! Don't know what they call it. Used to make it all the time.

In fact, i do loves to cook a few types of foreign food. Chinese food would be my top priority since my mother had taught me how to cook it since i was young. I had also learned through my mother on how to bake cakes and cookies. In fact, most of the time, we ate a lot of foreign food in our home. Now, i am also trying to learn to bake pizza, when i have the time. Have a nice day, Youless.
