I agree that all of our mistakes might be painful when they first happen, but at the end of the day they can be the things that eventually shape us and make us the people who we actually end up being. Something terrible happened to me early this year, and I almost lost everything and everyone in my life. Luckily, I managed to get through that time, and now I have completely turned my life around and lost almost five stones in weight. I am a totally new person now, and I know that I will be happier in general because of that.

Wisdom lies in learning from the failures. "Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall." A wise man never forgets his failures. He uses them for his future reference.

Indeed that is a rather true point to say the very least. There are a lot of times where people are experienced and wise to certain ways of the world. The reason for this is that they are going to make a lot of mistakes throughout there life. It is the fact that they learned from their mistakes that really does show you what kind of person that they are.
Mistakes are something that are going to help us grow. As we look down the road, we have made many mistakes, but in the end, they are valuable to the learning experience. We tend to grow through adversity to say the very least. We have fallen completely on our face so many times and as we go down that road of life, there are going to be many more times where we will fall on our face.
