If you were to walk in a store and the meat product was labeled genetic meat..would you buy it anyway? Would it really be meat to you or even taste like meat? Are we being fed that right now or perhaps being used as ginnie pigs without our knowledge? Just wondering.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with consuming genetically modified meat, so long as it still contains everything that is important for us in our diet. As long as nothing was taken away from it then I really don't see the problem. I am hoping that, in the future, scientists will be able to see a way that we could grow "meat" to be eaten which would mean that we didn't have to eat animals; because I strongly believe that this is cruel. It is a shame that we have to have the vitamins from meat to survive, really.

So true..sometimes when I eat meat and I think about how they're treated then slaughtered..I can't seem to eat it. I was taken to a farm in San Bernardino CA. and they were chasing the pig..and the pig was running to get away..he was knew he was going to die. Before they slit his throat the pig was looking right at me and literally had tears in his eyes..I can feel how it was afraid. I will never forget it.

Most meats in my country are genetically altered in some way. The chicken is to bring it to market sooner. I think we are being fed some of this genetically altered meats. Tyson is a big manufacturer of Chicken in our country and I know that they are doing this. Seed companies are too.
