Smart Gilas are doing well!

I hope guys that you were watching the games that has been showing everyday. It's FIBA Asia championships and so far, Smart Gilas Pilipinas are doing pretty well in the tournament. We had a recent lost against China but it doesn't affect our contention and we are on the right path. Lets just hope that we still gather more victories and capture the championship so we can regain our lost glory in Asia and we can participate in the Olympics once more. Go SMART Gilas!

They've been great these past few games and I for one support them all the way. I hope they'd beat China the next time they meet so we can get back to the Olympics again. I'm pretty confident that the Philippines would have another shot in the finals for this year's competition. Go Smart Gilas, make our country proud!

I was pretty sure they would do well, any team that could stand up against the NBA all stars led by Kobe Bryant and the rest like the way they did even if they lost and it was just an exhibition game would have a great chance of making it

Yes I can see they're doing well. Last year when I saw them play and joined the PBA I thought that this is the team that can compete in FIBA ASIA. And I was right. They're good but I just can't see them take the crown. China overwhelmed them. There's and NBA player there. They could have a chance if they really developed Agilar better. I mean he's got talent and skills. They should have trained him hard and made more set plays for him. But anyway I think this is their chance to qualify for London Olympics. :)
