If you are the mayor of your City and a billionaire donated $1,000,000,000 for you but you cannot use it for your personal uses, basically this billionaire's hometown is your city and he wanted your city to be the greatest city on the world. With all that money how will use it to run your town?
What will be your projects when it comes to livelihood, education, tourism, welfare, infrastacture, economy and more?
How can you make your city that best city in your country with all that money?Another thing, you cannot help other cities, all these money is for your city alone
anyway the billionaire will not let you corrupt the money for personal gain. He will monitor your every move.

I would hire batman. Yes. Batman would be the answer, he would move in to my city, reduce the crime rate, and have really cool toys to play with, and a hot car. Then I'd invest in creating free health clinics for the poor people in my city, free veterinary clinics for their pets, and donate to food banks and shelters for the homeless. I would then increase the pay/salaries of my public servants such as police officers and fire fighters and EMTs. I would provide scholarships for poor people to go to college for free as well.

as far as I know, Batman is a superhero who is not hired since he is a multibillionaire, so $1,000,000,000 is not enough for his services and he loves Gotham city so much....
Maybe you can create some special suits to enhance the abilities of the law enforcement of your city. About scholarships, I remember somebody said helping one scholar can help a whole country.

i find it very rational to provide better suits for the law enforcement people. they deserve the best there is so they will feel secure in the performance of their duties. we all know that there are persons who will do the worst things upon this sector of the society.

I I just realized my city needs lots of lamp post to provide light at night and lessen the crime rate at night but lamp post should not be made of metal so those hobos wont steal them then sold to the junkshop.

a study must be conducted in order to identify the top priority project most appropriate for my city. at this time though, i am very sure that it will
be livelihood projects since most of the citizens are so hard up financially.
the good thing about having a good livelihood project is the fact that people who have good financial incomes can contribute greatly to the betterment of every aspect in having a good and peaceful community. also, everyone will be contributing to the city's coffers as they will all take part in the economic activity of the city. this means more taxes shall be collected from the general public for the trading that takes place from day to day.

I would spend more money on the nursing homes in my town. They need more staff, the people who work there are far to busy to do their work properly and that is one thing that I would really like to change. I would also build more rooms in the nursing homes in order to get rid of the waiting lists.
The school and the kindergardens need more money as well. I wouldn't build a new school, because the one we have is only a few years old, but I would give them more money for books, other learning materials and field trips. The kindergarders would get more toys inside and outside and I would paint and redecorate some of rooms and make them more colourful.
The library would get more money for new books, cds and dvds and I get them a bigger room as the one that they have is quite small. In my country there is a school where you can take your high school exam when you are an adult, but the classes are really expensive. I would make sure the evening classes for adults were free just like the "normal" high school (the high school for young people) I would like to make it possible to learn something new even if you don't have a lot of money.
I would remove the ugly abandoned houses that looks like they are falling apart and I would create a very large park instead of the small (and pretty boring) park that we have. I would invite artists from all over the country and ask them to create a unique work of art in the park. I also want more art in the streets. We have a statue of a famous man who was born in my town, but I think that we need more sculptures and other kinds of art. I want to town to be colourful and beautiful.
