It sucks to respond on discussions that are about to be deleted. I responded two discussions here and got a notification that it got deleted. I really don't know what rule did it break as it was not advertising. I think both of the discussion got a similar discussion posted already.
But how can we know? I mean you wrote on it with your heart and it vanished just like that. Can you share some tips my friends? I haven't been here for quite a long time and I can see mylot has improve but it can still be better. Share your views folks.

I agree with what has been said above about the guidelines, but I also wanted to add that although not often, there are times that members request to have discussions deleted.
When I was new I could not understand at times when certain discussions were deleted. I have personal messaged a couple of the discussions starters who were on my list and they explained they were not comfortable with the discussions and requested them to be removed. This is sad they would do this, but as we know myLot does reserve the right to remove what they feel.
Thankfully it does not happen often, just thought I give an example of what I have experienced.

Really? Just because of a typo error? Lol. Hehe. That's funny and weird. Maybe the discussion starter was some kind of a perfectionist. I know that if one discussion gets deleted we will also lose or our earnings will also be deducted. That's why I created this discussion because I'm kinda mad about losing a few cents I earned.

Huh? Really? That's allowed? I didn't know that. I thought it's not possible. I guess that's unfair for responders. We gave time to respond and hoped for a bit of compensation but then discussion starters will just do that to responders? I understand that sometimes we create discussions and later feel uncomfortable with it but it's just not fair.
Well, if that's the case, I have created some uncomfortable discussions before. Maybe I can request admin to delete it too. Lol.

Yes it is unfair and that is why the guidelines state that we should preview our discussions prior to submitting. We really should think wisely because I don't think admin would be happy about us requesting many deletions. There were many times in the beginning I was so puzzled then one of the members I asked why was it deleted, after 20 responses in it. She stated it had a typo and she was not comfortable with it. Huh!?! oh my...
Also what members need to keep in mind is that all earnings earned through those discussions will also decrease not only for them but for the responders as well. I don't think responders would be happy and continue responding if they knew. lol

I just post and post comments without even want to think it will going to be deleted by the admin or not. I did get scolded by some members who said that I still can't recognized which discussions are going to be deleted but honestly speak it is really hard for me to know that even if we checked them on FAQ or guidelines provided. So I don't care. I just write and post my comments or sometimes I wait for a few days and only then post my comments. Do not feel sick with the notifications. you will get used to it soon~(^^)

I think it is best to read the rules again. Reading the "DO's" and "DON'T's" part of the section. I would also try to not say any bad words or anything close to it as it may sound that the post is offending the asker. That may be the reason why the post was deleted by mylot. Who knows, they have their reasons why.

Hi fear. Yes you're right. Learning the rules here in mylot will just keep you away from harm. Actually I lost track of the discussion that I'm talking about. I really don't know if other responders had a fight in there or used bad words. Maybe you're right. Oh well, I'm over it now. Hehe.

It got deleted because you answered a question that might have been repeated or was violating the guideline rules of mylot. Its not a big deal if you do a lot of responses in one day. You can keep busy on here when doing a lot of responses. I have about two or three notifications a day that are telling me the answer i wrote under ____ has been deleted. I dont really worry about it and keep posting my resposnes.

You seem to be really determined on posting. Hehe. I admire that. I just felt bad about it but it's not that of a big deal anyway. Letting us know what we violated would be great and I hope mylot admins will give an eye on this discussion and maybe consider some good changes for the betterment of mylot. Thanks for dropping by lologirl.

hi lolo and shadow mylot admins asked you when you signed up to use the link they gave you to learn those rules as that's why they are there so we can read them then go back and check the discussions to be sure we do not respond to ones that are breaking a rule.If you read them then reread them you will begin to understand what is
against the rules and what if not. then if you still need a bit pf explanation ask one of us older ones and we will try to help. But by reading them first you kind of get an idea of how to use mylot better.I keep rereading them as lately some have been reworded so
it pays to read them for yourself.good luck and happy mylotting.

I would assume that the posts were deleted as they did not oblige to the terms and policies. They reserve the right to delete any post they wish to without the threadstarter's consent. But I would believe they will only do so if it goes againts the terms and conditions provided by the myLot creators.

Hi cookies. Yes I'm already aware of that. Everything has a reason I believe. It's just that I really wanted to know the exact reason why it got deleted. Anyway I don't care more about it now. I moved on already. Lol. Thanks for dropping by and have a nice day ahead.

It is confusing sometimes to understand why you have had one yourself deleted. It has happened to me. Can you imagine?! I just don't understand sometimes even if someone tries to explain it to me. There are just different kinds of posts that aren't allowed and sometimes it feels like they don't fit in those descriptions, but apparently they do or they wouldn't be deleted. I'd give you an example, but I don't remember any. LOL!
I am just trying to get used to it and letting it go. I had 3 of my responses deleted and the reason was because they were irrelevant. Like: Did you like this movie....... I responded, that I was sorry I couldn't help, but I had not see that movie. I had about 3 like that that were errelevant. I was just wanting to post, but my answers are supposed to be helpful or contribute and they didn't. I understand.

Hi there chrystal. Well no offence but that's funny what you did. Hehe. I have thought of doing that before. Doing some irrelevant responses just for the sake of posting but it didn't happen. Funny to know that someone have done it. Lol.
Anyway I got used to this before. I mean I joined discussions that got deleted and even created discussions that were against the rule. But it's like new to me again. I'm sure I'll get use to this again in no time. Thank for dropping by tears.
