Do you have any idea why some people can sleep very light and very deep? Why is that? I know that I am a deep sleeper. My family is a deep sleeper, but I have a friend who's very light sleeper. A little noise can awake him. Why is that? Do you have a friend just like mine? What did he/she do?

I used to be such a deep sleeper that I would sleep through the smoke detectors when they would go off on accident in the middle of the night. I loved being a deep sleeper because I didn't have to worry about waking up at small noises and then not being able to sleep. But now, I'm a really light sleeper and can wake up at noises. It's very annoying and I miss being able to sleep through loud noises :(

hahahahahah You're funny! Yeah, I agree with you. I pitied my friend. Any small noises that we've create can wake him up. Hey, is that possible? changing from deep sleeper to light sleeper? That's weird. Maybe a factor is aging and stress. But I am not sure. :-)

Yeah, I really don't know what caused the change :( I just know that all of a sudden little things woke me up when I used to be able to literally sleep through anything.
