Should MyLot Have More Payment Methods?

A lot of people do not use PayPal because they do not like them, trust them, had a bad experience with them, etc. Therefore, they are unable to recieve earnings from myLot.
Do you think that myLot should offer more payment methods such as AlertPay, MoneyBookers, or even by check? So that people who do not use PayPal will have other options?
Or, do you feel that PayPal is reliable enough for myLot to use, with no need for more options. And, if people choose not to use PayPal, that is their own business, and myLot shouldn't have to change their payment methods just to accommodate those who refuse to use PayPal?
Personally, I think PayPal is just as good as any other payment processor like AlertPay and MoneyBookers. None of them are perfect, and they all have their problems, I am sure.
Adding more payment methods may provide more options, which is fine... but I don't feel it's something that must be done.
Please, share your thoughts!

I know they use to have other options in the past. Although I do like PayPal as the processor for me, and if they offered other options, I would still opt for PayPal.
I know that others could benefit from other payment processors, so if it was offered it would not bother me and or change what I currently use.

I feel exactly the same as you HWG.
PayPal is the payment method of my choice, and would use it even if there were more options available.
And, I would not mind if there were more payment methods that could benefit others.

hi angelee I have had paypal for four years and never had any
problems at all. if you have any problem just consult one of
paypal admins and they will literally walk you through it'
whatever it is. I have no doubt that some will not ask and thus go away mad, this is silly as they will all help you no matter
what your problem is. I have only full confidence in them
for they have always helped me. I think mylot thought it
'all over and picked the best company myself.

I too like PayPal, and have never had any problems with it. They seem very trustworthy, and helpful when you have any issues.
Unfortunately, some people have had bad experience with them. Whether it was PayPal's fault, or their own... they just don't want to use PayPal. Therefore, they are unable to receive payments from myLot.

According to me adding one more payment methods would benefit mylot as there are many user who user other processor of payment also
So they would also try mylot out
paypal is available nearly everywhere missing few countries so the user of that country can't try mylot as they would never be able to cash out then
if to look at it from business point of few then i thing they should add it would allow many new people to be a mylotter
like you i too don't thing that adding other payment processor is a must because frankly i only have paypal account and it the best one in our country . it do have some problems but still its the best

Anglee: I have had no issues with paypal account so far. Also now they have made it automatic withdrawal without any charges. Giving more options may confuse some people and having only option makes easy on many counts. You have stated that you do not feel there is need for more payment methods and I also concur with you.

Well, I didn't exactly state that there is absolutly no need for it. I think at least one more option would be helpful to some. However, I do not feel that myLot is obligated to add another option. I personally am fine with just PayPal as the only payment method.

I am pleased with the policy of payment.
I have not had any problems and personally I think that suits me.
as far as I have previously enjoyed different accounts but not anymore.
People have tried all possible and have found the right solution.
I do not know why I do not believe in these accounts and trust.
I am me extremely happy.
nice day!

I don't feel they are obligated to, but it would be nice if they did.

I too am pleased with the current payment methods, which is just PayPal. As PayPal is what I prefer to use anyway.
I just feel for those who do not use PayPal, for whatever reason, as they cannot receive payments from myLot.

I agree.
PayPal seems to be the most popular payment processor because it is more "international friendly" and has low to no fees for sending payments.

Yes, they usually charge more fees. Also, I am not sure if they are as international as PayPal.

I definitely feel that there should be an alternate method of payment for people from all country. It is all encouraging when we have another option. Because, paypal or other such online banking systems keep changing their rules and regulations very often depending on their convenience or due to the banking rules of that nation. There is always a sense of threat. Hence, it would be better if they can also provide some other options like cheque.

Yes, it would be nice. However, it was pointed out in one of the boxes above, that sending international checks would be costly for myLot, and therefore, result in less earnings for us. Which would not be good, and we would have even more complainers of myLot not paying enough.

Having more payment options like alertpay and other online programs they are like having separate bank accounts. Each one would have to have a balance in them in order to cover payments. Not easy to keep up with that.
I feel paypal is good and then maybe being paid by check for those that can't get a paypal account for whatever reasons..

ohhh angelee! is this a complaint about mylot?
tut tut tuttttt!!
haha only kidding.
i have tried alertpay and i've got cheques too.. not from mylot but from different things.. and the only thing i keep going back to is paypal.. every single time. it's fee's are lowest. it charges you nothing to trasnfer to your bank.. and it's connected to ebay so i can buy clothes. haha!

aw i was only joking ya haha!!
i've used paypal for years and years, and i would never use anything else by coice, ever. nearly all online shops accept paypal. ebay accepts paypal. mylot pays out to paypal. you can transfer money to your back free of charge.. i mean literally what more would you ever need to do with paypal? it does it all.
i used alertpay once for a payment from microworkers, and the money is still sitting in it because the fee is soooo high to transfer it to my bank, i'd rather just save it there lol!

Haha, absolutely not! I am not complaining at all. Personally, I have no problem with having PayPal as the only payment processor. It is my preferred payment processor, and I would continue using it even if myLot had other options!
I just wanted to discuss this issue, and see how everyone felt about it. So far, I believe the majority of people feel the same as me. They like PayPal, and do not need any other options... but wouldn't mind it if myLot added more options for others who do not use PayPal.
I too like PayPal because of it's low to no fees. Also, I find it really easy to use, and when you have an issue they have great support.

I like Paypal and never had problems with them, except one time, but the problem was resolved really fast and the support was great. But, I do know that a lot of people had problems with them and maybe for them would be a good idea if myLot offered another option. The others payment processors, like Alertpay and MB, for me, are very behind from paypal in quality. For me, the best e-wallet is Neteller, but I don't think is possible to myLot offer this option.

I have never heard of Neteller.

In my opinion, mylot should offer other payment processors, such as Alertpay or Liberty Reserve besides Paypal although I don't face any problem with Paypal. This is because Paypal is still not widely accepted & they are not available in certain countries, such as Pakistan, Bangladesh & many more.

I think that Paypal is reliable enough. But I think that it'll be gd to have other payment options for those without a Paypal account.

I agree.
PayPal as the only payment method is fine with me, as it is reliable and my preferred payment processor. However, I would not mind it if they added another option for those who do not like PayPal.
The only problem is finding another payment processor that does well for international payments, and will not cost myLot any extra fees.

I wish my lot have payment options..And don't know why and what reason...And even me , i have problems with pay pal before, giving me hard time of it.But till when i am verified i have no problems but work fine and they are very helpful costumer service..
I think my lot is more comfortable on Pay pal and that is why that is their use of payment..
But some people do not like it,and many here also want other option of payment, but it depends on my lot .If they will agree with us, or work together with that in here...

I too think myLot is more comfortable using PayPal, as it is the most reliable (in my opinion) and it doesn't have so much costs and fees that other payment processors have.
MyLot is probably trying to avoid having to pay all those fees, so that they can afford to send us the money that we earn here.

Yes that is true , i think they avoid to charge us fees and especially that we are working hard in here..
And they are also satisfied for using it..But you know that others countries did not accept pay pal and also some are joining here with no pay pal account..But i think they are laving or continue..

It is a policy decision that should taken by the management themselves, you can suggest what reforms you may need, if they adhere to it is well and good. thanks

Hello Angelee, When I went to mylot for the first time back in 2008, they were two payment methods. First, Moneybookers where i joined first, but i didn't send my money to. then, paypal, but in this regard i decided to choose paypal because i thought it's a lot cooler then. after that discussion about moneybookers stop servicing, i realized that i choose paypal instead....

I have been using paypal for while ever since I learn to make money online, so, I don't have much problem with paypal at all. As matter of fact, I would like mylot to offer different payment options like you said, that would add some variety for people who is from different countries. For myself, I saw a lot of people from other continents, and especially people from India, they all complained about Paypal won't work there, so, that make sense though.
