Recently I'm on a holiday in China, then I have free time to watch Chinese stock market. I found most time the market is down. The international markets are down a lot too. I have invested some money in Chinese market and British market. After three months my earnings are just 2% of my investment. Do you invest in stock market? Have you made money from your investment?

I'm really glad for you. It's a little difficult for me to understand what you are investing. However as I live in both china and UK, so I have a chance to compare the two markets. I found it's helpful for me to know western market when I invest chinese market. by the way recently I have been made money on both market. Now I'm seriously thinking to invest more to replace my work to make money.

Thank you very much for your explaination. I think now I have a little idea of what you are doing. My investment in Chinese stock market is not bad to be honest. Generally I have made 20% income from my investment within one year. However I know now the current market is not very good, especially the European debt crisis. I must be very careful.

It's GREAT to hear that you making money from both market. You know, more than 90% losing money in stock market as far as i know. What i'm doing is analyse the stock price (current, past)and make the best position should I sell or hold or buy to maximize the profit. Of course, this would help to increase the odd of making money. We can always discuss more should you have interest in making some money in stock market... :)

No, I have not been investing in the stock market. It is a very complex market, and one needs to study the market trends very carefully before making the investment. I don't have the expertise for that. I need more time to study and understand the market before making any inverstments.

You are right. It is a very complex market. You need to study the market very carefully before making any investment. Because my major was about economics and I'm interested in current economical affairs so I don't need to study too much before starting. So I can kind of saving time on it. However i do need more time to understand British market before making any inverstments as the market is very different from Chinese market.

Personally, I am in no shape to make such risky choices such as investing in stock markets.

I don't like risk either. I suppose most of people in the world hate risks. However if you really love money, if you really want to have some so called easy money investment is an necessary. Invest in the stock market does have some risks, especially now we are in financial crisis period. However it's also a good time to learn about the market. No market is always down. If you are patient enough you can get the time when the market is getting up.
