I am a kind of person that really don't like the debts.
I would take three jobs, I would stop buying clothes or food to pay and I have already did it a ot of time in my life.
When I owe money I get very impatient,I really like to pay, I hate the debts, but sometimes sadly I have had to ask for borrow money.
Sometimes I even have dreams about paying, I only think about that.
I can't see the face of the person that I owe money if I don't have the money.
As soon as I finish paying this I won't ask more for borrows to the bank.
Actually I have a debt and because I can't work the solution that I found to pay is donate my plasma (a yellow liquid that contein proteins and is contained in the blood )so I go two times a week.
I will do that until I finish paying.
And you?
What would you do to pay if you don't have the money?

Good day Rosa26,
Your main topic discussion reminds me of one instance when I got a debt on my credit card. That was my first and last debt having a huge amount. I was compelled to file a salary loan in order for me to pay that huge amount of credit card bill.

The best way to eliminate and pay off those debt is to prevent it from coming over you. Prevention is always better than cure. All you have to do is always clear those debt first before doing any move with your incoming money or pay check. But if unfortunately you inherited or already have the debt and there is no way to prevent it in the first place, it is always a good move to work extra hard in order to pay for it. Yes, working some side and part time jobs can be of help. Also, earnings online can diminish those debts. Never pay a debt with another one. They will just keep on coming. I suggest that you try to sell some of your assets or luxury things out there to clear those debts first. You can always buy those luxury items again once you are already financially stable and out of debt.

Thanks guys.
you are right prevention is better.
But I can't go back to the past and I can't work until next year in this country (USA)I got to this country some months ago, so I don't have any luxury thing, all what I have is me,my body to make money, and that is what I am doing donating plasma until I finish paying my debts.
I can't that haven't pass through my mine ask to another bank borrow me money to my debts but it would be like circle with no ending.
Thanks.

prevention is better than cure!! that's right but when you don't have money in hand to accomplish your goals then there is no other go to borrow money from others.

We had a bunch of debt. We took several years to pay it off - it was credit card debt. We worked a lot and didn't really do anything other than work for quite a while. We also sold a bunch of stuff that we owned. i did a bunch of small things online. Now, we are being careful to not get back into debt.

I really hate debts too. They give me a lot of stress and I do not like the feeling of being run after or being distrusted by people. This causes a lot of anxiety, so as much as possible I try to avoid getting into any sort of debts but sometimes I run low on cash and would be indebted to people and I hate it.

I am not comfortable to have debts when you owe to someone... It's a headache to think which reminds me everywhere I go. So to pay my debts, I have to work harder. I need to double my works. Aside from regular work, consume the remaining time as part time job at night. If you know some computer skills, you may use it to the costumers. For worse case, you would sell your belongings such as laptop or gadgets to earn money easily...

Sorry, I don’t have debts because I don’t go for them. Hence I can’t advise you.

If I had a debt I would transfer it to 0 percent credit card. I would get three jobs in order to pay off a certain amount each month. Before the 0 percent deal ended I would have hopefully paid off my debt. I would reduce my spending to not purchase new clothes and eat less food. I would drink tap water. If I had hassle from the people I owed money to I would visit the Citizens Advice Bureau. They offer advice and assistance to set up an easy pay system.

Those are excellent ways to pay the debts I am going ask for advises to the national citizen advice bureau, even thought my debt is not in this country (USA), is in my native country.
Thanks.

In order to pay off debt, I would certainly try to earn as much money as I possibly can, make a budget, and try to cut down your expenses. I think that that's one of the best ways to pay off your debt. It certainly can't hurt. I think that this way does help quite a few people. I do think that it does benefit people. Not necessarily everyone, but at least a number of people.

I am actually in the process of seeking another job just to finish paying off some things. I would do almost anything to work as long as it was legal.

I am heavily indebted at the moment, and if I haven't started changing my lifestyle, I'd be so indebted it would take my whole life to pay off that debt. So, I have cut back on my expenses, and that comes with cutting back the use of my credit card. I also have a part time night job and sometimes what I earn online comes in handy when I need to pay a bill. I read a lot self-help articles about managing your finances, because somehow someone would be able to come up with a brilliant idea. I have stuck with my job, although I absolutely hate it, and will stick to it until I find a suitable replacement, or at least pay off my debts. Sometimes, I sell stuff that I don't already need, like books that I have read or my textbooks when I was studying.

I am not for being in debt and when I had my share of major setbacks it was a hard process to swallow borrowing and being in debt even if it was against my conscience. As a human being I need to be practical to be able to support my family. Thankfully God has granted my the financial opportunity to recover from my setbacks and I am now paying those debts that I have little by little. I need to caution my self from trying to buy other things and sacrifice is a must as of now.

i personally do not like owing money from others because the thought of it just make me sick! but if i had debts i would sell some things or work hard to pay that debt. i would not want to have that debt unpaid for long. if possible the next day i should pay so i won't have problems anymore. ;)

Well, I have to have the money to pay off the debts. To have money, at one end, I have to work hard to earn money, and at the other end, I have to reduce expenses. Right ? So, I may need to take two jobs, work long hours. Then, I do not buy things which are not really essential.

As you Rosa I would diligently do all that was necessary to pay the debts. Odd jobs for additional money, sell anything I don't need for additional cash and continuously drum up ways to legitimately earn to pay them off.
I have to admit I have not donated plasma and do hope you can lower your debt soon.
