There are a lot of ways for you to save. Being careful with your money and spending it wisely is definitely a good way to help you save. Try to take a little bit of money every month and put it into a savings account, or something to that effect. Make a budget can also be useful. There are plenty of ways for you to save.

My way of saving money is to put away a little cash each week, if i earn $500 a week i would put away $50 in the bank and spend the other $450. When i have a large amount saved up i would invest it in the bank.

Wow, that a nice income you have. 500$ a week is big enough. I have never earned that much in history so far. I would will try to do it. See I am earning less than 200 $ a month which means I can try save 20$ a month or equivalent to 10% of my monthly income. It makes sense.

Why you do not save $ 450 and use that $ 50, it will better.

Hello Rom! Welcome to Mylot! Here in the Philippines, we have a bank named BPI and it can do arrangements in forced savings. Whenever payday comes, it will automatically cut a portion of your salary and shift it to another savings account. I save that way.

I have to check that out in BPI Grace. I live in Mandaue City. So far I don't have money yet to put in any bank as I am officially broke.

Oh, that's kinda sad. You have to start saving now. I am still a student. I'm trying to save part of my allowance as much as I could and if situations permit me to. I know that my savings right now won't help in any way for my future, but, I think that developing "this" habit of saving is a good practice that I can soon apply when I grew older. I don't have much money since I am still a student. But, aside from my allowance, I also get some money from a business of mine. Its actually a simple one but I manage to earn a little. Just enough to buy some stuffs that I like.

Thank you Mabel. At least you are learning to save some of your allowance. I have not done that when I was in school.

Oh. Most of my classmates don't save, too. Or, they just save during the first few weeks, then, it stops there. All of us simply like to eat, so I think, it is on food where they spend the most.

Sad to say this, but I hardly saved any money too. My previous savings has all gone down the drain when the share market crashed. Although the shares are still in my account, the price has taken a deep plunge and will not be able to recover. It is really saddening as those are from my savings for the past 6 years I have been working. Well yeah, it's time to buckle up and be more realistic. Try cutting down on your expenses (entertainment, meals, etc.), try to diversify your investment (mutual funds, fixed deposits, property, etc.), maybe take up a part time job. I believe you won't be able to earn much online though. You can save your online earnings in paypal account as additional income until you need to withdraw for future use. Happy saving!

I guess to have a part time is the thing I haven't done yet. I should look into that option. I cannot do the mutual funds or fixed deposits as I don't have cash on hands right now. Maybe I have a lot of money I can do that. I don't think much about investing in property when I have money.

I graduated from colledge just for more than 1 year, and Now I have a steady job the salary is good enough for my life.I don't think money is saved by any ways We chinese have an old say:the money is maked, not saved. So I convinced that the most effective way to make money is to prompt yourself. No matter your work ability or your comunication with the socity.

Oh I see, thanks. Money is make not save. It's the first time I heard such word. But what about the extra money you have per month, what do you do with them? Put them somewhere or still spend them?

I have quite a lot, since I have been saving for a long time, and don't really touch my savings at all. What I do is pretty much: - Save 10 % of my salary automatically (through a automatic transfer from my bank account on the day I get paid. That way I never even see this money, and can't use it even if I would want, making sure I save 10 % of everything I make) - Save all my change at the end of the day. This sounds strange to some, but it really adds up! - Save most of my online earnings, adding up close to another salary at this point, so it really helps as well. What I've noticed about savings myself, is that the hardest thing is to get started. Once you actually do save, it gets kind of addictive, so it's not that hard to continue. So just make sure you get started, first of all!

I save money in the bank just to avoid the overuse and course it's safer. I do not have much money.
