Trust is something that is earned in any aspect of life. And the government is far from an exception. And they have really not earned my trust to say the very least. Well its not necessarily the government, just some of the people running it. Of course, we must ask ourselves a question. Is it the government that makes the people corrupt or is it the people that corrupts the government?
I think that there have been many questionable decisions as of late, people taking their power and not the responsibility that they have to serve the people. Which is not a good thing. Of course you could put different people in those positions and things might be slightly better, but they could also stay the same or worse. I don't think there has ever been a completely trustworthy government ever when it boils down to. They're always doing something rather dubious.

i know not all in the position are corrupt but they a lot of stuff are mostly corruption. we put that person in that position but sometime that person could change and might be also corrupt. But for me they do something to additional tax to pass this in the congress.. so people again suffer in that tax..

I've never trusted any government and still don't. To me, they are all in it for personal gain and power, and the same mistakes keep happening, whichever side of they fence any political party happens to be on, over and over again, with the same arguments re-surfacing all the time. It's time (in my opinion) for a complete change of philosophy rather than swinging from one side to the other governmentally, although I have no idea what format the alternative would take.

No I don't trust my government. Each year it's the same, nothing will ever change. I also don't believe they will ever be able to change something into good. The mess is just too big and it takes too much time to change just a small law (mostly 4 years and then the next "government" shows up).
No matter where you live governments are corrupt and selfish. Not selfish in the way they just want what is good for the country or the people, but what is good for them.
