Repeating your discussions on other sites

I know that a few people are members of more than one of these types of social sites, so I'm wondering, when you create a discussion here, do you make that same discussion on another site that you're a member of?
I've never done that before, but I'll admit I'm tempted to do so at times. Sometimes it seems as though different sites have their own vibe and atmosphere. I think it'd be interesting to see how the responses would vary from site to site.
At the same time, the last thing I'd want to do is to have someone accuse me of stealing another person's idea, or for someone who responded here, to have to answer that same question elsewhere.
Have you ever repeated a discussion question? Would you consider doing that? Do you consider that to be cheating or lazy or do you see nothing wrong with it?

I do know several members who do post their discussions from here on other sites. There are some of the members here and also on the sites they post them to. So it depends on whether the member considers repeating themselves on the topic or not.
For me no, I don't think I would unless I knew that all of my listed friends on the other sites were not here as well. I heard some actually enjoy doing so as they say that they continue to get yet more feedback on their topics.
Your question about cheating would not be if the site itself will not allow you to post something you already published here. But outside of that I don't see it as cheating as it is your discussion and if you would like to continue furthering elsewhere, there should be no problem with that.

Well for the writer you want to make as much money as is possible because mylot'S aim is to make money too. However I have personally never repeated a discussion word for word ,what I may do is launch idea on another sight but put a different spin on it so that the theme can be viewed from another perspective. So like I said I wouldnt copy it word for word

I don't think it would be cheating exactly. Usually when I start a discussion it is because I need opinions or to hear about other people's experiences. So by putting it on two sites that people could respond to, I might get more answers and better ones. I don't belong to any other sites though, just mylot. Mylot is all I can handle right now lol.

As I am a member of mylot only, the question does not arise for me. But if I ever do so, I must change it accordingly so that the theme remains the same but the representation is in a different way. In this context, I like to know what would happen if anyone uses the same discussion on another site. Does it depend on that site or is the rule same for all the sites?

Sometimes I do, but I always approach the topic in a different way. I post on more sites, but these sites have more specialized forums. For instance: internet, environment, religion, etc. I like mylot because of the wide variety of discussion.
