love is monotonous, incessant,boring;no one would stand for anyone's repeating the most ingenious statement so many times and yet the lover demands unending reiteration that his beloved loves him. And vice versa: when some one is not in love, love bestowed upon him oppresses him and drives him mad by its utter plodding quality.
