I started using lipstick when I was already in my 3rd year College. I had to, because my friends were already using it too. I want to be “in”. From then on, i was hooked. I find it nice to have a lipstick on my lips. It somehow enhances my face, because it makes my lips appear healthy too, because of its red or pinkish color. Somehow too, even if you only have a lipstick on your face you seem to have a bit of “class” for yourself. So guys, do you find girls with lipstick nice to look at, than without it?

You have stated that you started using it from 3rd year college. Nowadays I think girls must be using it from much early stage . I am reminded of 1950s when in India not all ladies will be using lipstick --only those from rich class or others who are in media will be using it. True applying lip stick enhances the beauty of the person. This is similar to my using talcum powder and after applying I use to think my age has come down by 2 or 3 years. Similarly lip stick will make the person seen as aged less that her real age.

Actually my friend, it depends on the color of the lipstick for one to look younger or older. Per my experience, light colored lipstick makes one look younger. Darker shades would make one look matured but classy. I guess, i belong to the second one, because i love red lipsticks. It defines my small and pouty lips.

i do not really wear lipstick then but because it is required in our duties so we won't look pale or look sick in front of our patients i have to wear them "sometimes" when our instructors would tell me to do so. i had a funny experience with lipstick i dislike wearing them so what i do is i bite my lips over and over so it would look red when i arrive in our circle but our teacher has a good eye she has sensed that i was not wearing lipstick so she got my attention then i hurriedly applied it. girls look good with lipstick on. but i do not know i am just not used to wearing those so i really disliked it even now.

Actually, one doesn't need real jewelries in order to be "in" or look better. As you can observe, those white golds, or silver things are the "in" accessories nowadays and they cost lesser that the real gold ones. In fact, i prefer to wear the silver ones over the real gold ones , because they are so fashionable and complements any color of clothing.

I think, when you wear it everyday on work, you would get used to it. Actually, i am so used to it when at work. But the moment i arrive home from work, i would wipe it out from my lips . Once at home, i would like all those earrings, watch and ring out of my body. They already feel heavy, whenever i get home.

i see, but for 3 years i have escaped from wearing those. lol! i would actually wipe some then erase it slowly by pressing my lips on my handkerchief. same here too! i love wearing jewelries especially bracelets, watch and earrings but the fancy ones. i do not wear jewelries that are true cause i feel heavy with the responsibility of wearing them.lol! :)

I started using lipstick when i was 17. It was a fad then and i just wanted to be in. But as i aged, i'm not that fond of lipsticks anymore. Lipgloss yes, just to keep my lips soft and moist. Nowadays i seldom put on lipstick. But i never go out without a lip gloss and that doesn't even have a tint. Only when i'm feeling sexy do i put lipstick on.

Lucky you Toni for not being accustomed to putting on lipstick. i do love putting on lipstick, but then when i don't have a lipstick, my lips look a bit dark already. I know it's the use of lipstick for many many years.

I love putting on lipsticks too. Normally I wear the light ones which nicely blends in with my lip colour but my favourite are dark ones I love my red lipstick I have but don't use it often. It is super nice but can look a bit over the edge for everyday life.

I guess, majority of girls have lipsticks on their bags. Light colors are said to make one look younger. Nonetheless, like you , i love my red lipsticks ! They are worn everyday to the office. Red lipsticks defines our lips very much. Even when one is in ordinary shirt only , if she has a red lipstick on, that suits her complexion well, she appears classy. Don't you think so?

Actually, red lipstick stands out specially to fair skinned girls. I am a fair skinned one with a small lips , that's why it suits my lips. Though for casual wears , i only wear light colored ones.

Yes classy is the word But i think it's just me or how my complexion is. The red colour just stands out so I don't really feel comfortable wearing it everyday :) But i think it's just a personal taste so if you love your red then you should enjoy it and I bet you look lovely

We're the same. I just started using lipsticks when I entered 3rd year in college. At first, I don't like wearing lipsticks because that makes me feel trying too hard to look pretty, and then before I bash other girls who wear lipsticks because they look trying too hard to look pretty. And now, I'm one of them too! because like you, I feel like I had to because my classmates and my friends wear that. I don't really know if wearing lipsticks make me feel much prettier than I really am, and I also don't know what other people think about us wearing lipsticks.

Actually my friend, we need to enhance ourselves , whenever we are at our work or even at school. Even only wearing lipstick can do the trick. But at home, of course i don't put on lipstick.

I think girls with lipstick on are nice to look at and like you said, it enhances the girl's beauty more. I guess it depends on how much lipstick they use on their lips though. Please visit www.lifo.com if you're into beauty and fashion. It is a fun site for girls that allow them to share tips and views on beauty and fashion as well as celebrity trends.

Actually my friend, i don't have to see what's "in" , when it comes to make-up specially about lipstick. As long as my lip color matches what i am wearing and it suits my face well, i am on it. I don't want fashion to dictate on me.

Makeup and lipstick would be a confidence boost for the wearer..You look good,You feel good, and that helps around other people..Celebrities would rarely allow themselves to be seen in public without their "Face" on..I do like when Lipstick and makeup enhances the natural beauty...

That's true my friend. But actually, with even a lipstick alone on our face, it surely brightens and prettifies the face.

Dear friend, As a male I would like the women in most natural beauty. Moreover I also do like women with lipstick if it suits them. Moreover it is heard that lipstick if gone inside could be resulted in affecting cancer. But I do appreciate women keeping care of their beauty and preserve it well. For me beauty is something really to be appreciated.

Lipstick - Woman's best friend
I started using lipstick when I went to collage. My classmates were all in lipstick so I felt left out and so I also did. But I regret having used lipstick. Although lipstick enhances a woman's appearance I would say that lipstick has some disadvantages. Based on my own experience, lipstick has in a way ruined the natural color of my lips. I have naturally pinkish lips when I was not yet using lipstick but now that natural color is gone. If I could turn back the hands of time, I will not ever, ever use lipstick at all.

Sad, but that's very true. I noticed that too. I wonder if lip balm on days we are not using lipstick , would bring back our natural tint of the lips?

I don't wear lipstick when I was in college. I just wear lip balm and some lip moisturizers. However when I already started working, I love wearing lipstick. I love those pink and peach colors and those natural ones. Maybelline Water Shine is one of the best lipstick.

Yes, that Maybelline type of lipstick is very nice too. I have used that too before. Recently, i was gifted by my friend from Canada with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks and i find them so nice to the lips, because they stay for a long time. Even if i have eaten, they would still have that tinge of color in my lips. I think, they will be what i will be buying once they are fully consumed. But hopefully, my friend will again send me some.

hey hi ... i think your topic selection is really amazing . todays people end up trying out evey single element available at their door steps just to look GOOD !!! they go soo crazy about applying stuffs on to their delicate parts like faces etc to enhasnce their already existing beauty . by doing this what they cease to understand is that they are depleting sometimes even erasing of teir natural beauty .we can enhance beauty but by taking careful measures. by this i mean you have to take care of things like ensuring the brand of your product , ingredients put in it . whether these stuffs will suit ur skin type and most of all will it suit ur complexion etc. dont end up using sumthing which u saw was good on others because that which was good on others need not be good on you .. so take care when you duse these stuffs .. personally i feel a girl need not bury hersefl; with cosmetics of any sorts to look good or to enhance her beauty .. so think before you go for those eye catching products to pamper yourself .. good day ...:):)

Actually, when it comes to cosmetics, i always test first before i finally decide what brand i should always have for myself. This lipstick brand was a tested one.My cousin from abroad once gave it to me. Having tested it to be good, i told my friend when she asked me what i want as a "pasalubong" or a token coming from another place as that brand. Thus, it has become my brand of lipstick.

I get used to wearing lipstick since College. At work, you would feel so plain, being with your office mates, who are all fully made up. So, you have to have, even a lipstick on, so you won't pale beside them.

I used lipstick only when i did classical dance.my parents ownet allow for regular use,it looks nice, and gives some beauty to face, but i saw some people who use very dark colours or highlighting more, thats seems to be unnatural.just use, as it suits to your skin tone, then shows it beauty more.

The lipstick is quite important for females. Even if you don't have a makeup, but as long as you use the lipstick, you will already look better. This is the fastest way to have a "makeup". I love China

Thank you , youless, for liking lipstick as important for females. Yes, it does comprises the makeup of a woman, yet could still look good with it alone on the face.
