I am a big coffee drinker. I have cup of coffee first thing in the morning, before I even start breakfast. I lkie the good, strong brands. Nescafe expresso would be my favourite. I do sometimes buy the plunger kind of coffee, often Vittoria, or whatever is on special. I have my coffee with a little skim milk, lactose free. No sugar. How do you like your coffee? How many cups per day do you have? I probably have about 5 cups per day, big cups. I even drink it cold.

Oh, not a coffee lover here. Though I do love all those foo foo coffee drinks from Starbucks or from any gazillion other coffee places. It has to have whipped cream on top and made more from milk than coffee. You know, that light, light milky brown cup of Joe. And it has to be iced, for sure. Other than that, I drink licorice tea in the morning and chamomile at night. Wow! I sound sissy.

I would love the whipped cream on top, but Im afriad that amount of milk would react with me. I could handle a small treat every now and then. I have never hreard of licorice tea, but have been through phases of chamomile tea. Hatley wants to know where you can buy licorice tea?

My mother drank coffee round the clock and slept around the clock as well. I drink coffee when I first get up in the morning, before breakfast or with breakfast. I drink four cups of coffee daily and it is half caffeinated. I space it out and try to have my last cup between four and five pm. or I will not sleep well.

That is the same as me, with the timing of your last coffee. I wouldn't sleep well either, and would be up at the toliet during the night.

I have never tasted coffee in my life. I don't drink it because my parents never let me when I was younger. I was going to try it once as I got older but since I do drink too much cola products, I didn't even want to start with coffee as cola products already have coffeine in it. So if I do ittend to try coffee I must lay off on the cola products for a bit. That would be really hard.

I am inclined to agree that if you drink a lot of cola, you should not drink coffee as well. That would be overloading the system abit.

I frequently like to drink coffee too. I've a glass coffee device where I put the ground coffee, then I add hot water and I press with a plunger. Then coffee is ready to be drunk. I always put a bit of sugar in the coffee but no milk. I almost drink three or four cups of coffee every day. I'm not used to drink it cold although it will be sold in some shops like so.

I love drinking coffee, too. But, not too much. I have my coffee with milk. I don't really like sweet coffee. I like if it is bitter. I usually drink 2 cups everyday, one cup in the morning and one cup in the afternoon. My favourite coffee brand is CAP SINGA in Indonesia.

I brew a 12 cup pot of coffee every other day and keep it in the refrigerator. I love it cold with sweetener and Hazelnut creamer. I drink 3 or 4 large mugs a day. I always have my coffee nearby.

I know some folks aren't bothered by hot drinks when its hot, but I am, I think I might have a minor internal thermostat problem... I might drink coffee when its cold, but I'm just as happy with hot tea.

hi jennybianca I am a lover of good strong black coffee and drink five cups a day because I have read four studies that showed that elderly women l ike my self that drink four to five cups of coffee a day have 90 percent less chance of becoming senile or getting Alzheimer disease. that and the fact that I love the taste of it and the comfort of it so now its good for me at age84 I drink it without any qualms at all.

Gee, you drink coffee before you sleep! That is unusual I think. Although I love coffee, I dont drink it for a few hours before I go to sleep because it would keep me awake and I would go to the toilet a lot during the night.

Wow. You drink a lot of coffee. That is a lot of caffeine. I think that is bad for the body already. Me, I usually drink 2 cups a day. I usually drink nescafe in the morning because it wakes me up and I drink san miguel coffee during night time because it makes me sleep faster.

It probably is too much coffee that I drink, but provided I dont have it at night, it doesn't seem to have any side effects. That is interesting what you say about San Miguel helping you sleep faster? Is there something on it that does this? I would be interested in knowing.

I can understand drinking too much coffee would affect your sleep. Thats why I dont drink it at night. You must love your sugar. I love creamy coffee too, but rarely have the creaminess, because it would upset my stomach.

I have a keurig, love it because I can get single cups without wasting a lot of coffee, have different flavors, and I totaled it up, it's cheaper for me to buy the pods than to go to a drive thru and buy a cup. I usually get the same kind, have experimented with iced coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cider but I always go back to having a smooth, rich black cup of coffee.

I am a coffee lover myself. There is not a day that I do not drink coffee. Just like you, my day starts with a cup of coffee. I take around 5 cups all in all in a day and sometimes 6 cups. But these are standard size cups. Some people cannot tolerate just even one cup. They feel palpitations and say that drinking coffee is bad. Well, in my case, I do not feel any problem at all. In fact, coffee makes me active and its great company when I am reading a newspaper or just sitting around relaxing during breaks. I take coffee with cream and a little sugar.

I don't have any side effects from coffee, such as you mention. Only if I drink it at night, it would keep me awake, and cause me to go to the toilet too much during the night. Hence, my coffee drinking is restricted up until about 4.30pm.

I like coffee also, but I have to drink decaffinated because of a medical problem. If I am at a party or something sometimes there isn't any decaff. I live alone and usually just make instant coffee. If I am having company I will make a pot but that isn't very often. When I go out to eat I drink a lot of coffee, but I have an overactive bladder and coffee seems to make me go more often than other beverages.

Coffee has that effect with my bladder too. Over the years I learnt to moderate it, especially by not drinking coffee after 4pm.

I'm a big coffee lover too, but I do realize it can have its disadvantages..sometimes you can't get as much sleep or you're feeling tired.. but I just can't quit, I drink probably 3 cups a day. By the way, did you guys know that the biggest coffe drinkers are Finish people? Also, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Netherlands and Sweden comes next after them, respectively. I think there's some relation with the colder weather and drinking more coffee:)

Hi there. My body is a little different. I can only have coffee or tea on a full tummy. Can't have it on an empty tummy as I get palpitated more often. I'm up for cold icy coffee with cream and syrup any time though. I prefer Maxwell House. Cheers!

Must be something in the coffee that upsets your empty stomach. I can't handle cold coffee, but would love the cream and syrup. The cream would upset my stomach though if if I had it too much. Whenever I have my brothers fancy milk coffee I get an upset stomach due to all the lactose. I learn the hard way not to drink it!
