Ive seen this news at Yahoo homepage about the man who was beaten to death by the police officers happened in California. The victim was a homeless schizophrenic man who was beaten by 2 police officers. I am very upset on what happened because they should have more patience with them man because it was mentally challenged and no matter what they say they cannot be understood because he's not in the right thinking. Follow the link below to know more about the story. http://news.yahoo.com/2-police-officers-charged-death-calif-man-182031549.html

It happens everywhere. It seems. But what is even worse is that some people think it´s all right to do it. Shame! Shame for the police! Shame for the law! Shame for everyone who thinks that a single life doesn´t have a meaning!

This is really sad. I think that public viewed people need to act better. We tell our kids to go to them if they are lost or need help. People wonder why kids are scared of doctor, police officers ect.

Hi there Junmae! That's really sad and scary especially when it is those who are considered authorities that we rely on to protect us from criminals and to keep us safe who are responsible for this kind of crime. I think that you are right and they should have been more patient with the man or should have allowed a professional who is supposed to handle that kind of cases to do their job.

What happened to these policemen who are supposed to give security to civilians. They deserves to be in jail for doing such. They are not worth for the uniform and respect by civilians. They should have help the homeless man but what they did is killed him merciless.

There tends to be a disturbing amount of this going on. This won't be the first case that police will overstep their bounds. And unfortunately, it is not going to be the final case as well. There are times where police have to deal with some rather tough situations, but that is just the nature of the job. They have to maintain a cool head and diffuse the situation with the least amount of damage possible. Too many examples of this going on in the world. This is a rather disturbing situation to begin with, made more so because of the circumstances. There are going to be some people that are going to give you lip. There are going to be some times where the situation is going to need to be diffused. Which this one, the police failed big time.

A proper judicial inquiry should be made and the concerned person should be punished in public so that in future no one should do such to innocent people
