I prefer eating (clean) foods that contains a lot of nutrients even if it taste bad as long as my body benefits from it. Of course most of us want foods that taste good but what if the food that taste good contains lots of bad cholesterol? What if it contains something that is not good to our body like trans fats that increases the risk of heart disease. What I mean here is we should eat lots of food that will not harm our body. Say we eat vegetables 5 times a week and limit the foods that contains bad cholesterol, trans fat, etc. What ever the taste of the food if it has lots of fiber, antioxidants or omega 3 I'll eat it as long as it's clean of course.

A few years back, I could not resist mouth-watering foods that are not really good for the body. I love giving myself what I crave for never minding its ill-effects on my body. But these days, I'm beginning to be conscious on what I eat because I feel some bad signs inside my body. I have even started drinking food supplements that are believed to take away toxins from my body.

That's true. Most people usually becomes health conscious when they feel something bad i their body. And other times it's too late for them. That's why we should stick to what is natural and nutritious. Artificial food tastes good but mostly are not good to our body.

Being human we all fall into the eating foods that taste good but are not good for us. Some of us eat way too much and some are strong and don't eat it at all. When I was young I just plain ate too much, mostly carbs & sweets. And as we know carbs add weight and fast! Sadly I've got a ton of weight from being taught poor coping and eating habbits by my mother and aunt. Now I am a mother and I serve more protein, fruit, veggies and I limit the carbs and sweets. Though I love my sweets but with having 3 kids whatever I buy is gone and usually is one package to last a week and if it's gone in a day so be it... then we have healthier munchies.

Hi Jacruz!
I eat both! I like a lot of tasty food which are not really healthy, contains a lot of calories, cholesterol, sugar, and all. But I do know that it's bad to eat too much of these so as much as possible, I try to limit my intake of such foods. Also, I eat nutritious and healthy foods as much as I can, like vegetables, fish and all because I also know that it's good for my body.
I just want to give in to food temptations at times to satisfy my cravings.

I have the knack to choose food that tastes good and also good for the body. Occasionally I do indulge in some goodies which would not help my body but these situations are rare.

I just make it balance. I sometimes eat foods that is good to my mouth even though it contains lots of carbohydrates and sweets. But then, I eat also vegetables and fruits. Vegetables does not really taste good but it is very good in the body. That is why always keep your food at balance.

I actually eat foods that is good for my taste of course..but it doesn't mean all the foods that taste good are bad for our health or doesn't have nutrients at all.. you must also consider what's with the food you eat..not vegetables tastes bad.. yes some does but not all i guess..

I won't eat food that doesn't taste good to me, but I eat both healthy and good tasting food. Healthy doesn't mean that it doesn't taste good. I think that if we give ourselves lots of choices regarding good vegetables and grains, those high calorie, high cholesterol, high sugar or salt things won't be nearly as appealing. Good food tastes good!

I am on a healthy eating plan and so I am only eating healthy and nutritious foods. Having said that most of the foods that I eat taste just as good - if not better - than the unhealthy foods on offer. I eat lots and lots of fruits and vegetables and I cut as much fat as possible out of my diet but the food I cook tastes good, looks good and I know that it is doing me good. This picture is my lunch yesterday; a bowl of home made, fat free vegetable soup, a thin bread roll filled with ham, low fat soft cheese and beetroot and a bowl of strawberries topped with low fat yogurt.
