Would you pay to sleep?

Hi friends, As I was going out for my lunch break today, somebody (dressed in pyjamas) was handing out a leaflet that sells SLEEP. Yes, take an afternoon nap in the business district for a whopping US$15 per half hour! Would you take up that offer? I was wondering when the business would flop, yeah, it's quite evil of me but I don't think they would have much business. What do you think?

I guess if they offered a real bed with real clean sheets, and some soothing sounds (waterfalls, etc.) then I think that $15 is worth it. But why not take it a step further, offer a massage, have some shower rooms, jaccuzis, etc.? But personally, I don't have much use for it. I can sleep whenever, wherever. If I'm really sleepy, I can just lean back against a wall, and sooner or later, I'd be snoring!

I think that's what makes it really expensive. To be wanting to be in bed with clean sheets all the time. And can afford to not go to the office all the time.

LOL, I will have to ask your manager to always look for you at that sleeping place! Sounds like they can develop the business further and offer these whole range of services you suggested, that will make it more appealing. Actually it seems like a spa and I think there are lots of those around already. binggaling, Yeah, I would certainly want that type of talent too. I always find it hard to sleep and the slightest disturbance, I would be up already.

I would not pay for sleep. I would sleep if someone paid me to. I don't see the point. I could sleep at home. I hope that business flop. They should do foot massages instead at least they can probably get people to fall asleep then.

A foot massage is such a good idea! It will definitely help people relax and relieve their tiredness. I don't see why people should pay so much just to lie down for 30 minutes, unless they are not sleeping at home at all.

heavy eye bags hanging - This is what you would look like when you do not sleep enough!
Yes, your sleep can be stolen when you are thinking of someone, this can keep you awake for hours, then the next day you would have heavy eye bags under your eyes.

On a regular basis I doubt I would use it but if I tried it and it was effective and refreshing I think I would use is once in awhile..say on days I am under extra stress or days hat I didn't sleep well the night before.

What you said is true, people may be thinking, this service can come useful sometime when I did not have enough sleep and really wanted a place to rest. However, I think a business can only survive if they have a pool of regular customers. On the other hand, if they become so popular that people are flocking to them, maybe their business can sustain.

If you are too sleepy then there is no other option other than that..... Because not sleeping when you are sleepy might lead to some health problems(have that experience lol).....sometimes i would chat the whole night with some friends and in the morning i would leave for college....Then i college i would be sleepy and can't understand even a letter what teachers say.....Then i was affected by fever and now if i do that there will be a light pain at my heart.....So i never be late to sleep....and always be active in college...:)

Hello, That sounds really bad, waking up the whole night and not concentrating in the morning. It would not be worth it to spend money to sleep during the daytime, why not sleep properly at night?

I'm sure you wouldn't want to see wrinkles on your face or eyebags under your eyes right? Make sure you get at least 7-8 hours a day.

If I was sleepy yes I don't work yet but if I get a job in the morning I would go to sleep early so I'm not sleepy at work.

You are a good employee to be so full of spirits during work. I have seen many people nodding away at their desks, they really need coffee or a rest!

Yeah, that is called a power nap, which is very effective. I do that sometimes when I am really overcome by sleepiness.
