A man was taking bath in a pond with his little kid. He left his cell phone on the stair of the bank of the pond. The kid was so little that he did not know swimming. During their bath the cell phone began to ring. The man rushed to the phone call and talked to the person of the other side for several minutes. The man came back to the pond. But he did not find the poor boy. The kid drowned and died. Many tragic incidents happened due to cell phone. Cell phone is very useful, but for the careless persons it is harmful.

good day to you bhanusb, whenever we possess something, we should also know our responsibility on how to deal with it. that in everything that we have, we must be also aware that they have an advantages and disadvantages. so better take all the necessary precautions. and this is a must for all of us. as prevention is better than cure.

Oh, that's really terrible~ The father should not let his kid alone just like that. He should not care about the phone or at least he should grabbed the kid first before took the call. Honestly I hate the idea of having a cell phone/telephone while people take a bath because its really disturbing!

Yes CTHanum, many people have telephone mania. They like to call and receive calls. They forget their responsibility and awareness. Irresponsible people always repent like the father of the poor kid.

i know. people dont watch their kids around water enough especially if they arent taught to swim yet. there is like 10 to 15 kids here in this area alone that drown in pools every summer. i dread it. they may start being less now that there is a law about locking them and making a very tall fence around.

Hi bunny, water is very dangerous for the kids. Parents should be enough careful when their kids swim or bath in the pool or ponds. Water always attracts the children. So parents should watch their kids when they are bathing even in bathroom.

NOT BAD CELL PHONE, BAD PARENTING. When caring for children they must be the center of attention, water is especially dangerous even for experienced children, that is why they have life guards.

in my point of view cell phones can be used for developing communication skills. but nowadays they are used only for illegal purposes. especially students using the mobile phones for needless purposes. every electronics items having many advantages. but they are used in improper manner. i requested all fathers please avoid cell phones to your daughters and sons.

Hi asasikumar, you are right. Sometimes cell phones are used in illegal purpose. Teenagers may misuse this device. So parents should be cautious about their children. They should give attention to their teenaged children.

It is really sad when a parent leaves a child unattended in a pond (or any body of water...even a bath tub) whether it is to answer a phone or anything else. I think that I would have ignored the phone. That father has to live with that for the rest of his life. May that child rest in peace.
