Every night, before I sleep, I would listen to my favorite radio station using my phone. It has become one of the things I do before sleeping, aside from reading books or watching movies. I tune in to this particular radio station with a DJ who has a very sweet voice. She's a female DJ and she's known here in our country now because of her style and voice. I love it whenever she would talk to her callers and gives advice to address their problem. It just sooth me to sleep after finishing her segment.
What do you usually do before sleeping?

When I get ready to go ot bed I am on the computer. I am because when I get done with work and come home that is my best time to be on the computer. It is usually the most time I have to be on Mylot,Facebook and do other things here. In some way it can be stressful but other ways I is relaxing, too!

Well, I'm on the computer before I sleep! I usually watch a movie or read a good story on the internet just before my bed time. Once my Mum starts nagging me to get off the computer, I go and make myself some cup of warm milk. I always need my cup of milk before I hit the sack. After that I would brush my teeth and watch a bit of TV. Then I'll go to sleep. That's pretty much my routine that I follow almost everyday!

Usually, before i sleep i would pray, while my husband beside me watches TV. I close my eyes and pray . Then , i would give my husband a smack kiss and watch a little of what he is watching and bid him goodnight and sleep , when i feel so sleepy already.

Me, i would always pray first before i get too sleepy. But would sleep undisturbed by husband's watching of TV still, by putting on my blind fold.
When i do that, my husband would laugh and say, there goes batman again!

My hubby loves to listen to the satelite ratio on Direct TV. Me personally I rather watch a movie or if not just go to sleep with total quietness, with work and then my kids at night by the time it's time to go to sleep all I want to hears is peace and quietness in order to just relax. That relaxes me, but most of the times when my hubby puts the radio, I at times get aggitated and it's difficult for me to fall asleep and I start getting fraustrating and come morning I am cranky as hell.
So I personally prefer peace and quiet before going to sleep.

My husband is the total opposite he is a heavy sleeper, he even has conversations with you in the middle of night and the next morning swears that you are the one going crazy. Me on the other hand I am pretty light sleepers most noises do wake me up.

I see. My husband prefers that too when he's really dozed off. He hates hearing noises and he wakes up by just hearing little noise around. A light sleeper I guess.

hello there Lily. I just saw your responses here. You have many! Thanks for coming over. And yes, coffee is an enemy to me, not only because it never help me to sleep but also because it makes palpitate every after I drink some. I have low tolerance with caffeine now.

Oh, I hope that your TV automatically turns off. Set it to sleep so to save energy. My dad is like that too. Have a great day!

ronadelle,
If I am somewhere around in another part of the globe, it would probably be going online with some soft background music like Jim Brickman, Yanni or something soothing to get me to sleep mode.
Otherwise, it would be talking about just everything with my wife to catch up - sharing about my trip, share some photos on my tablet, mobile phone, home, kids and etc.. Sharing soft music is also another favorite we share together before we slept.

I also have same habit of listening to music before sleeping or doing something and even mylotting.
Music is my energizer and music gives me inspiration.
Usually before going to sleep I fight with my kids (hahaha)just kidding.
But it's really hard to put my youngest son to sleep ..and that made us fight

I used to watch MTV late at night because of hard rock videos that were shown.
Sometimes I got tired and sleep. My brother told me it was not recommended to hear music while sleeping , it gets messages to the sub-conscious.
I also get sleepy after I read some pages in a book that I don't want to read.
I like hugging and cuddling with my cute dog on the bed and I can also become sleepy.

I do agree with you brother. Subconsciously, those kinds of music really does something. But I love that dog cuddling and hugging. That's a sweet scenario to think about.

I actually have to listen to a couple of my songs from my iPod before I can sleep. Usually I listen to soothing alternative rock songs from Secondhand Serenade or something very similar.

Before I sleep I like to listen to music before I had my kid. That was almost three years ago. Now when I try it seems like I will stay up if I listen to music. It seems like just the littlest things keep me up now. Now absolute silence before I go to be allows me to get a peaceful night sleep. I'm one of those crazy people If I hear a water drop that will keep me up. I know its weird. But I must agree sleeping with music definitively use to make me have the best sleep ever.

I am usually on the computer or watch TV before I go to sleep. I sleep early because of my school or helping my dad out. On Fridays and Saturdays I stay up later. I go out with my brothers and their friends so you can say that on Fridays and Saturdays, I am out before going to sleep.

I usually reply to one or two emails to friends before I get to bed. Then, I would listen to my favourite songs, especially classical music just before I sleep. Those help me to relax abit.

Most of the time, I just like to listen to music on my phone whenever I go to sleep. It initially releases up my stress and it makes me feel calm. The music that I love to hear at that time are love or classic songs because it's soothing to the ears and it's like a lullaby to me. :-)

I usually do surfing before I sleep.. watching videos, movies or listening to my favorite songs. Then when I feel sleepy already.. I then go to bed and then pray.. talk to God and made some realizations or reflections about what my day is all about. I usually do these things until I get to sleep. Good that you also listen to radio I also appreciate the thing that you have shared about the voice of the DJ of a radio station that could make you sleep. It's nice.. Hopefully I could also try it. Just want to try if it could also be effective for me..
