I was so confused for the PAPT (Philippine Anti Piracy Team), I don't understand what they are doing. They roam all over Philippines to check if the software you use are copyrighted or not and be punished or have penalty if you caught using pirated software. They went to schools, office buildings, internet cafes etc just to check their software. Why don't they check who provide all those pirated softwares and look for them and punished if they violated the law instead of looking all the people who uses it. It's insane! They are putting to much budget on this and the money is came from the government which is in short came from our taxes. Any views guys...and please do help me understand all these things.

well, it's also their way of corrupting people's money... they establish or start projects that are useless just so that they can get money in their pockets...
and haven't you noticed that they always pick on those people who are just small crimes??...how about those who really manufactures these pirated things??,,, they should punish those persons who are behind this illegal things...
or they can just use the budget to more useful projects like feeding the poor...right??
well, let GOD judge their deeds...

True iriz. I just felt sad of what they are doing. Normally, all they want is catch all the small business instead of looking the tycoon who provide all those pirated stuff.
No offence meant but how I wish I was born in a corruption-free country. Everything is corrupt here. Taxes went to hell. Small businesses were obliged to pay taxes then only to find it, somebody from the government corrupted it. :)

yah me too...i really felt mad to the police here in our place because there was one time when my mother and i was in the market to buy some fish we saw how these policemen get the vendors buckets of fishes and they brought it to the police station. Some vendors are running with all their might so that the policemen won't catch them 'coz for sure those fishes they are selling are still their debts and the only way to pay those debts is to sell all of them but how would they be able to pay if their fishes are confiscated right??? sometimes i really think that those people in the authority are merciless and are selfish!
