Is it worth to use internet connection for the sake of without any earning?

Internet is now considered a basic human need according to UN. We can do so many things with the internet aside from making money online. We communicate with other people, do research, share our knowledge, etc. For me, having a reliable internet connection is important. Viruses can be avoided with the right antivirus protection. And earning online is just a bonus.

i have been thinking about cutting the service with my internet provider. i also have this thought of getting the internet service to be able to earn some extra money from online activities. but even how much i tried to earn more to pay for the monthly dues, i never reach my payout regularly, so i need to earn more from offline work to add to budget and pay the bills. it's up to you to decide if you will continue the service or surrender.

I can certainly understand why you may be considering surrendering your net connection if you have tried to earn online and have not yet seen enough profit to warrant keeping a internet connection going. Perhaps you are not looking in the right place. There are many seriously legitimate ways to earn online, that have actually made people small and grand fortunes alike. Like any business endeavor however it does take some sort of investment so this we must be prepared for. Find something that is proven to work, that has worked for others in the past and work at it, long and steady while continuing with your day job until you earn enough online to quit the day job. How perfect is that? It is and it is doable. Best to you in all that you do my friend!

I am not good at advise in such matters Venkatachary. You are having a computer and you must be using it for some good purpose. Coming to internet question, I do not think what you are paying for internet is so much that earning from internet becomes necessary. You must be using the internet definitely for browsing as well apart from e-mailing. Virus protection can be installed on your system free of cost also. So take my advise and enjoy the net facility without any qualms.

before, I really planned internet at home for earning purpose but I never succeed in doing so, just like you, paying more than I earn. But I think it worth it because I used it substantially for internet research for my project and downloading entertainment, movies, music, etc. :)

This is an interesting discussion. What we could do is make a little game of it to help understand the economics that might help someone reach a decision. Let us call the computer our car, bicycle or skateboard. Now let us call the net connection the road, path or street we live on. The costs are licence, maintenance or purchase. We can meet the costs by investment and work. There is also places like the park to have a picnic, a school and this really nice library. Anyone? Is it worth the investment?

well it depends which kind of internet you have. If you want to pay the internet with the money you make, then you shouldn't pay for a fast connection. To make money online, check your emails, and browse the internet you usually don't need a very fast connection. I would keep the internet, but maybe use a slower connection. But I don't know if you are already using a slow connection.

I suggest that you weigh in the advantages and disadvantages of your usage of a computer with internet connection. There are a lot of benefits from the internet other than earning online from it. If things like downloading media, social networking, file storage and email and other entertainment or online activities in the internet can be given up by you, then I think it would be better for you to stop the connection. If your bigger purpose or goal of putting up the internet connection is to earn big online and you are not achieving it, then maybe you can evaluate the situation and move on to other options to steer you to the direction to your goals. I think that only you can answer that question of yours. It is all in your hands whether the internet has a big impact in your life regardless of earning with it or not.
