Most people are hard headed and stupid. I'm sorry to those who are smokers. I understand it because I been a smoker before, but I quit. It's really hard to quit this kind of stuff. Smoking feels comfortable and would lessen stress, that's commonly answers by the smokers. The realization is always at the end when the outcome is there.

I have nothing against smokers as long as they won't affect the public. It is their choice to ruin their health but what really annoys me are those smokers who are irresponsible. I hate those smokers who smoke in public around other people, even though they notice that they are causing discomfort to others they still continue to smoke and affect the health of other people.

While some people smoke to fit in the crowd or to be stylish, the habit is an addiction. Some would like to quit smoking, but they do not have the will power to quit. I think the best thing to do in this case is to avoid smoking in the first place: Bad habits are easy to build, but very difficult to break.

I am also interested to know the answer. I think it may be due to habit formation.

It's very hard for non-smokers to understand why smokers can't find the will power to quit the dirty habit. Some people find things more addicting than others. Just like with any addictions, withdrawal can be overwhelming. Nicotine is not the only legal source of addiction. Often when people stop one it enhances another. I've seen many turn to food and gain a lot of weight. The weight can be just as bad or worst than the smoking is.

It is a very tough addiction to beat. I've seen it from an uncle who loved to puff away like there was no tomorrow. We all told him it was bad for his health and to those near him for second hand smoke. First, he'd stopped and later on, he'd get out a get a whole box back. He still is smoking and finds it hard to stop.

To some smokers its a habit formed over time, while to some it gives them a sense of belonging while others they do it because they saw other people doing it.HABIT FORMED OVER TIME.their is this adage that say"bad habits die hard even though they know that smoking is harmful they cannot stop because its a habit been formed over the years it is going to take time to drop it in other words they are addicted to smoking.SENSE OF BELONGING.some people are emotionally depressed and can not reason properly to them the only way out is by getting high to face their daily challenges.so they take solace in smoking.finally they do it because either that they saw their friends doing it,or the members of the family.

Being a smoker I don't know why I feel panic sometimes when I am working or thinking and ultimately I start smoking during the process. I think it is psychological instead of need.
One I was the hatter of smoking when I was a Football player and what a coincident I started smoking in the ground because there was so many people in our seniors who was smoking on that time. I think during the period of young age fantasy of a personality which you admire and you follow him blindly with his all worst part too because of fantasy around him, it is the key to get into this harmful arena. Media is also playing his part for spreading this disease when they present heroes in front of us who smoke during his big events with some unique and amazing styles. Followers of that fantasy based personality follow him blindly are the real victims.
In the last I know it is dangerous for my health but I don't have will yet to get rid of it unless I start trying to quite from my this worst habit and stick with it with full devotion and passion. So when you are going to start your try to quite from smoking?
