Hello to all myloters, there is a question I would like to do to you all, specially those with yahoo accounts. I have seen in my inbox today, a message where I am informed that I have to update my account, or else, it will be closed permanently, and some personal data are asked from me, I don´t know if it is scam, or if yahoo actually is working in their servers as the message claim, if any of you know how can I personally contact yahoo, or know something about this message, I would be thankful to be informed.

Thank you, that´s precisely what I thought, that I should not give my password and other information, since they already have it, it looked just like a scam mail, I just wanted to be sure, and asking here on mylot seemed to be the best way. thank you for your reply-

Well I did got some emails on Yahoo about upgrading their email looks, but I didn't upgrade right a way. A month ago I logged in and I was force to upgrade to the new email before I even view my emails and so I upgraded and got the new look of the email page and that's it.

I think i got that email a while ago as well but just passed it by because i didnt believe it and i think its a scam and i wouldnt do it at all or even try to do it. Keep away from those things and dont even bother to contact Yahoo because theres others on mylot tht have yahoo accounts like myself and dont trust those scammers out there. People are just rude and want your stuff and you dont need them doing that to you and working for nothing so dont even bother with it at all.

Hello, It seemed to me like scam from the begining, but the message looked so real, that I wanted to be sure before I do anything, but, the general consence here is that it is actually scam, so, I am a bit more relaxed now. I still have tried to contact yahoo to inform, so, maybe they can advise other users, but, it is almost imposible to contact this people. Thank you for your reply.
