Perhaps this question is often asked by other members but I have not found it. So I want to ask here and hopefully someone will answer. What is the limit to respond and comment on MyLot in 1 day?

Just to also confirm as all the others that myLot does not limit us. We can limit ourselves depending on how much time we can utilize here. Do know that you need to participate in your discussions also that would be part of no limits here on myLot. Have fun and hope you enjoy your time here.

I think that limiting ourselves depending upon our schedules and how much time we have is the hardest part, especially when our friends are online and we find an interesting discussion that we can participate in.

There have been times when I have started participating in a discussion only to realize that it was much later than I had originally thought it was, and I had to get off the computer. When I went back to the discussion I saw how much fun I had missed, and I felt a little bad that I didn't have more time to be here and enjoy all the interaction. Then there are people that you can interact with any time, such as in that one discussion where everyone was trying to get the last word, and it went on for weeks. In fact, I should go back to that discussion and get it again.

Oh gosh yes there are times I sea a very interesting dicussion that I so want to participate with but knowing that I will be logging off soon, I can't participate until perhaps the next time I log in as I do not want to place a response and perhaps others joining in and I won't be able to continue. So I try to based on how I can participate, dependent on how much time I can spend at that given moment. I was hoping the discussion starter would drop by as well, but not doing so means they are not earning for their discussion. Hopefully the discussion starter also knows that there is not time limit and can participate anytime they get a chance to.

When my butt gets sore, I've been sitting here too long! Mylot doesn't have a limit.

@mike197601. Yes I am experiencing the same thing with you, it took several minute just to post a comment. It make me a little lazy. My connection is not problematic on other sites.

I know that myLot does not limit us, but obviously there are limits such as time constraints, interest level (some days you might not feel like participating as much as others), and finding topics where you can give a relevant response/comment. I think it would be interesting to see how many comments/responses active members make in a day, although that really would not tell us much, especially since some comments/responses would clearly be longer than others.

LOL! We all know ... or at least we all should know ... that quality does not necessarily equal quantity and vice versa.

Do you ever respond with anything less than quality, my dear? Although I must admit that at times the quantity might be lacking a little!

Well, I guess that you could do that, but it would not earn you much, especially once your comments/responses were deleted as being "irrelevant". I know that earning on here is very difficult. I mean, it is not like what we are doing right now is going to earn us any money. *goes and checks earnings again* Oh wait, I guess it does earn us money ... never mind.

I guess the limit is the amount of free time you have to come in here, formulate good discussions and responses, and speed at which you type. There is no limit. Happy myLotting!

Darn! Now you tell me that my discussions and responses are supposed to be of "good" quality.

You don't have to worry about that PA! You always put up "good" pizza toppings and ice cream flavor discussions.

Hello azis74 and welcome to myLot ! There is absolutely no limit in the number of comments or responses you can give at myLot : you can comment during 24 hours every day if you want.

The user rating that you see near your name is only increased by 1 for a discussion, if this discussion has at least 2 responders or 1 responder and 1 comment, but you can give an unlimited number of comments and you earn for every comment you give.

To add on to what Top here has already stated, your user rating only increases by one in a discussion that you start that receives at least two responses or one response and one comment within that response box. However, your user rating will also increase by one the first time you respond to a discussion started by someone else. It will also increase by one the first time you comment within a response box on a discussion started by someone else. After that, as long as you keep responding or commenting within that discussion, your user rating will not increase, but your activity keeps increasing, and it is your activity that increases your earnings.

To be honest I do not think that there is any limit. However you obviously cannot spend too much time typing as you get tired, so that is the natural restriction.
