Relying on Luck

Luck, appears to be a mysterious concept thus far everyone has it in some practice. Do we make our good luck ourselves or is it probable that either some ominous or adorable figure creates this occurrence? If we all have it them we must make it right? Well, there appears to be a lot of different schools of thought to this query.
Then again, can luck even be bad; is that an ambiguity of terms? If its luck shouldn't it automatically imply positive results?
I decided to bring my lucky coin, so does the coin hold the luck or do I hold the luck and choose what object I focus my beliefs on? If the coin holds the luck and not me, then what do I reflect unexpected optimistic events that transpire but I do not have the coin with me? Is that still luck?

Luck can be both gd and bad. That's why there are good luck and bad luck. I think luck is sth that we can change thru' changing our thought patterns, etc. What you focus on is crucial. If you consistently focus on bad luck (eg. things that hv gone wrong in your life), then chances are more bad luck will enter your life. Conversely, if you consistently focus on the good things that hv happened to you, then you are more likely to attract more good luck into your life.

Luck is elusive. It can come in and flow out. It just comes and goes. Luck can be bad if it comes too little. I think it is something you have to focus in on and be positive or it will illude you. I think luck is luck and the person may hold the actual luck but a coin or other object can mentally help the person to attain the luck they look for.

See here's the thing. I believe one hundred percent that luck does not exist. It is an utter human delusion. To allow themselves to believe that certain things are impossible. The belief of luck keeps us rather humble and really keeps a rather lower opinion of ourselves than we might of otherwise. The concept of luck is a funny thing, as it is an easy explanation.
People can be skilled. People can pull of amazing feats. They are going to subconsciously maneuver themselves into some positions where they pull off great things. They might think that its luck but I just think it is an intelligent application of skills. Some people use the concept of luck to sell themselves short. As for lucky charms, well putting your belief in an object...kind of absurd if you ask me. I don't believe in luck but I do believe in repeated coincidence.

"Life is what you make it." It is the consequence of your actions and choices Luck has nothing to do with it. Most of the time, people wish us good luck when we are about to embark on something important. For instance, before we take an exam, or on our way to a job interview, friends and family always say, "good luck." However, it is how well we prepared for the exam and how well we answer the questions of the interviewer that will determine our success or failure. When we focus on our goals, when we have self-confidence and most of all, when we have faith in God, success is ours. We may not always get what we think we want. That's not failure. I still call it success because something better is in store for us. Patience and faith are all that we need, not any kind of material lucky charm. God bless you, pogi.

I personally believe that luck does not exist, maybe coincidence, anyway, the thing is, when somebody think something gives them luck, they only think about the positive experiences but do not think about their failures. That's why nobody should rely on a term such as being "lucky" and just work hard and earn things themselves instead of hoping to just get it all easily

Hello pogi
I think all the good luck and bad luck is just goes according to us.Luck is a conception made by us that we are used to tag our condition. If something goes wrong, we described it a bad luck, something good to a good one.But all these luck is originated by somewhere our work and hardship.Although many times some accident can happen to ourselves,I think that comes under luck or any lottery also comes under luck. But these are also due to our activity, what would be happened if we didn't buy lottery tickets. So luck comes to those who take chances.

It is possible that luck, I guess, is how far the most dangerous things lie. Suppose someone has a bomb but one that is far away, a person is said to have luck while if the bomb is near and it has the potential to explode the person will be having less luck. About the lucky coin, the fact that a person carries it brings some luck by confidence that there is a lucky coin with the person but that doesn't mean it can save the person from bad luck. At the end of the day, it's the actions by the person that determine his luck. Like a plant, luck can be grown or spoilt.

Lucky stone or lucky whatever does not really have anything special in them that bring you a fortune every time you have them, it is just a believe for some people- and maybe they benefit from their lucky objects. Me, I don't believe in those things, if I'm lucky then it gets me unawares.

For me, luck is in the person, not in anything else. We hold it in ourselves. And it appears anytime we need it. :)
