Hi Professor, so glad that you all had the help you need. Things aren't quite the same here. I mean, we have our immediate family that would check in on us, but that is about it.. no one from far away would come and we wouldn't have a place to put them up in either.. so it just wouldn't work. Your daughter had a baby didn't she? I think I remember that you were going to be a grandfather. Hope I'm not mixing you up with someone else.

I remember when I was a young girl and had alot of family. We had Sunday dinners at my grandmother's house. There was her and gramps, mom, my uncle and aunt, neice and nephew, and two cousins. Now there is just my daughter, her two kids and a great grandson. That's it now days.

Well i stay in Kolkata whereas my parents are in Siliguri. But a few relatives are here. They are helpful especially when my wife was pregnant and i was out of station. they watched her as their own daughter. Thanks to God as they were beside me to help me in such a difficult situation

Hello Papa! It is wonderful that you had all the family to help during this time. Usually I am the one to go to all and anyone who needs my help. I really have not had too much to have needed help with, but remember after birthing my two kids it was very difficult as I did not have family come and help but with the grace of God I did just fine with them. But I must agree with you that helping each other is the way to go as this is what family is suppose to do to keep everyone happy and peaceful.

I am blessed to have a very supportive family. When I have problems they will come in unison to fish me out of troubled waters.

hi baba, Well I am the one who always help my relatives and they always rely on me I am happy but sometimes I don't feel happiness nah because it come to the point I need to sacrifice my own happiness just to help them. Anyway I don't ask anything from them I am happy that I am helping them. hugs

Ya i agree with you my dear friend because in times of problem only our friends and relative help us. We miss them very much while they are far from us then. I also miss my parent they are not far enough then too i miss them sometime because they were with us from that time when we were small kids and after marriage we came far from them so we miss them. And in problems only our family are near to us

I have a very good relationship with my cousin, but I haven't seen her for almost a year because I moved to another country. All my family is far away and I miss them, but the situation is bad down there and I can't come back. Unfortunately, there are some members of my family, that do't get on well very good, for example, my mother and the wife of my dad's brother, I also don't like her much because she treated me bad when I was a kid, and her family is horrible aswell. That's why I didn't want to go some sundays to eat to my uncle's house. She ended up embarrassing me in front of everyone saying I don't eat fast enough or teaching my mother how does she have to raise me (she was always saying I was very skinny and telling my mum she starves me).
