counting the days before christmas

good day fellow mylotters,
as we all know, christmas season is fast approaching. as the days really turns so fast. its just been for a while that 2011 was just starting, then now, christmas season is fast approaching. and as the days goes by, my niece is telling me everyday, the countdown before christmas. just like today, she just have told me, auntie, it is only 92 days more, then it is christmas time once again.

I think she's counting the days because on Christmas time she will be receiving lots of gifts from her aunts and uncles most specially from you and her godparents.

Well, you have a point on there, since I was one of her Godparents. Perhaps, as early as now, I should think of my gift to be given to her for that season.

So you see? Your niece is a smart girl, because she knows how to subtly remind you of your gift to her.

I can't blame her for counting down! I absolutely love Christmas and I have a counter on my home page that goes all year 'round, counting down until that day!
You're right, though, it seems like it was just a few weeks ago that I was trying to get used to writing 2011 instead of 2010. This year went by 'way too fast.

I can not believe it either. I had started on some Christmas crafts, but now with our move next month I have to put that on the back burner. Originally we would have been done with our remodeling, but Randy lost hos job due to elmiminating positions which had really slowed down our remodeling projects as well as us having to move. I am hoping that once I get to Nevada I will be able to get back into my crafts.

My sister is doing that also, counting down to Christmas. At least I am always reminded how much time left to earn money for gift. But sometimes, I feel like more pressured if I know that.

Yeah! Christmas is closing in and I simply can't wait for it. You know Christmas is near when the shops and stores start stocking up on the Christmas goodies and tree decorations. I love driving at night and watching the beautiful Christmas lights on almost every home. The homes truly light up the streets and it's I love checking the houses out. There's competitions too for the best decorated home and if you win, your home will be in the papers. Also! At the stores, you would see the kids lining up to take a photo with Santa! I truly can't wait for the Christmas feel!
