Yes, I can agree. It is better that you purchase a fan now, than to wait and then you start to have problems with your desktop computer. Buying things before something starts to get worse, is sometimes the best solution. If you wait until later, then the issue with your computer heating up will cause more serious problems down the road.

Well if you make sure that this is the one that you need to help your situation this can help in putting off a New computer for later as well. I know that you are wise with your $$, and you will make sure this is the right one for you and your situation to where things will work out. Just glad that you have the extra $$ right now to do this instead of waiting and end up eventually with no Computer or choice as well but to get one completely new.

Well a fan is something that is important to have for your computer. If you do not have one you can damage the computer by it over heating. If this were to happen it would effect your great mylotting and then what? How are you going to learn then? So I would suggest buying one. I hate spending my earnings on things I did not want to buy too so I know how you feel.

Wow, Letran , at least you can see the fruits of your labor at Mylot! Go for that stand fan! It means to say , you have earned a lot already. Me, i initially planned not to spend my earnings until Christmas, but some things can't wait to be bought, because they are so inviting that i have to withdraw them. At least, i have enjoyed some of my earnings already.

I want to buy several computers this next year, LetranKnight25, one for working online; one for gaming; one for each of my businesses. I plan to upgrade my current desktop by having a new cpu installed. I use wifi so I do not have the cooling issues but security is a bit weak. I hope Santa is reading this!!!

If you have the money it makes sense to get them now especially if you need them and then you will regret not buying it if you don't so I say do it!

Since you are worried about the heat might harm your broadband modem, then it is wise to buy a fan to cool it down. After all, if the modem was over-heated, you won't be able to come online anymore. Since you have used some money to buy the fan, then you will need to work hard and save for buying your new desktop by next year. Try putting in more effort into your online works, i am sure you are able to save more for your desktop. Good luck to you...

That's a good start before you start saving up for the new desktop computer. Why is it getting to hot for you? It happens to me too, especially in summer and the whole room is so hot and you start sweating all over your poor computer. The computer when left on for long periods of time, it starts to radiate heat from it and the heats goes all over you. It's not good for the computer as well and the modem as it might damage the technology. I have a fan which I turn on when it's really hot, not only does it cool me but it cools down the computer too making me and the desktop both happy!
