YEah, I usually don't finish them since I fall asleep after 20 t 30 minutes if it's just to slow and no progress at all. I'm lucky if that movie is not worth watching at all.

yup.. its really boring sometimes when you comes across some movies like that... and when the end is like what was this movie all about... lol.
i prefer just putting it off, and watch something that actually makes sense. why do people even come out with such boring movies and waste their money... ?

I've seen this type of movies many times and mostly in the genre of drama. That is why I prefer to watch Horror/Thriller movies where the action starts right from the beginning. You need extreme patience to watch drama but if done well a movie of this genre can be entertaining too like the Oscar Best Picture movie The King's Speech.

I felt this in Black Swan, seriously. I took interest in the film almost in the last 30 min or so. I've read somewhere in this blogosphere that for the first 7 minutes of the film, the summary of the story should already be revealed. I think it was because of the short attention span of people.

The first time I ever felt that was last week. I watched DRIVE in the cinema. I had read some good reviews about it and I did not listen to the negative reviews (saying that the good reviews were just from bogus reviewers). I should have listened to them. It was a total rubbish. It was my first time wanting to walked out from the movie. The movie was very slow, and the acting of the hero was also very slow. It's like they tried to make a 30 minutes video into a 2 hours movie. *sigh*
