Earnings only update once every 24 hours. When they update you will see your earnings for your own activity the day before, myLot's day. You can see the time in myLot's time zone by looking at the clock at the bottom of the page.
However, YOU will only earn for what YOU do. These responses that others have posted will earn NOTHING for you. Theyearn for those who posted them. YOU can earn by commenting on them.

hi di ana right it does add to the fu n and if mylot had put rates out on everything, the quality of our posts would plummet as everyone would be writing pure trash just to get paid. I love it that we are paid for whatever quality we put into our posts. somedays I earn little as I am not feeling okay but other days for the same amount of wo rk I earn a lot as I am doing my best writing.
mike congrats on the blue star. and ppe then 9 5 must be the cusp so you can go either way red or blue so one nmore point might do the trick? i always plus all my friends here.my own star seems set in
concrete and does not move. 93 percent still pretty good though.

I earn way more then the minimum here each and every month. With 11 next to your name and only participating with discussion, I doubt you are making a great deal.
I have been participating consistently here daily and am able to reach far more then the minimum and do get paid each and every month. There are not set rates per post as this is a discussion site and expects us to participate with quality.
In box one prior to responding here I place additional information that should be helpful, do take time to read through it as quality participation is the idea.
Unless you comment back to own discussion, you will earn very little for simply starting them.

I hesitate to repond because this discussion may be deleted as per myLot's guidelines, but I do know that you earn more responding to other people's discussions than starting your own. Notice the number next to your name. That does not change when you start a discussion, only when you respond to another. There are other factors involved but I risk having this discussion deleted if I said anymore.

Yes mike is right the numbers by your name has nothing to do with earnings. If I do not participate even with my high numbers I do not earn a thing and or if I participate less then usual then I make far less.
The number beside our name does go up when we participate in our own discussion in one of two ways:
1. If you receive two responses and the discussion starter does not comment back/participate in the discussion the number will increase by one, but no earnings as the discussion starter did not type/comment to the responder.
or
2. If you received one response and the discussion starter comments back, it will go up by the one point, and earn because the discussion starter participated.
You can comment back to all responders and only maximum one point in your own discussions, however the more you comment back to ALL and or further you own discussion, you continue to earn.
The other thing is that when you respond to others discussions it will increase one point and you earn as you are participating/typing. There is max two points that will increase in others discussions, however the more you participate in others discussions the more you earn.
As far as what we earn no one knows exactly but one thing for sure is like mike says the more quality participation, in our own and or others discussions the more we earn.
