Happiness is boring

At least that's what an article I read said. I do not know where that article is now but it sounded plausible. The website described how some people decide that their purpose in life is to live a life full of happiness and thus they search for happiness. As they search for happiness they turn what's supposed to be a natural emotion into a goal and thus when they finally reach this goal(happiness) they get bored and with all their goals reached they don't really have anything to do anymore. That's when we get bored of happiness and then start expecting sad things to happen again since after the happy end it's mega boring. The article wasn't exactly like this. I added some of my personal opinions.
I believe we might do the stuff we like but not think in mind we are doing this in order to be happy. I once tried doing this and yes I did get bored of happiness and start not doing the things I like to get depressed and felt more happy when bad things were happening in my life.
Maybe it's because I like drama in my life but what do you think? Have you gone trough any similar experience regarding this situation? Do you think happiness shouldn't be searched for but instead waited to naturally come to us by our daily actions instead?

I think that life is about being happy. We don't have to search for it. It is a natural state of spirit, mind and body. If we take care of all three, we can't help but be happy.
I find that the happier I am the less bored I am. happiness does away with boredom because my fascination with life and people increases. There is so much more I want to do and I want to do it as a happy person.
