About Windows 8 a.k.a Windows Developer Preview

I've had the opportunity to try the new OS from Microsoft, namely Windows 8. It's still in alpha, so you really cannot complain that much about it. But one thing I could say about Windows 8 is that, it is really optimized to be used on tablets, such as the Asus Transfomer or the Acer Iconia. I don't really think that Windows 8 will be replacing Windows 7 as the primary desktop OS, but it will certainly give iOS and Android a run for its money. One selling point of Windows 8, as according to Microsoft, is that, unlike iOS or Android, Windows 8 will be a full-featured tablet OS, meaning, what you can do on your desktop on the productivity side, you can now do it on your tablet.
