I am excited to download my pictures from my camera .

Grapes on the Vine at Aron Hill Vineyard in Temple - I took this picture on one of my photo walks on August 27, as the grapes are getting ready for harvest.

Do you also eagerly anticpate seeing the results of your latest photo shoot? The picture below is from one of my recent photo walks. The ones I'm about to upload are from my last two photo walks and also some from my property. I love taking pictures when I walk and my camera is usually with me. How about you? Where do you take most of your pictures? Do you also wait eagerly to see how they turned out? What do you do with them after you unload them from your camera? Or do you use a phone camera? I never know what to do with pictures on my phone, so I always use a camera.

I use both the camera and my camera phone. If I know I will be out to a special event I always carry my camera. If ever I see something I just have to take pictures of and do not have my camera I will do so with my phone. I am one of those who eagerly likes to upload and share especially with my kids. So I don't hesitate and do so right away. One of the advantages with the camera phone is I can upload them instantly to Facebook right then and there and or SMS it to my kids and or anyone. I also at times back the photos from my camera phone onto my laptop and then back them up to my external hard-drive so I have copies saved.

I don't have my good camera anymore :( I haven't really done anything with them except for sharing them on social netwroks . I've been thinking of uploading some of them to sxc.hu (free stock photo sharing site) since I use it all the time for my articles.

Have you thought of opening a zazzle store and making products to sell with your best pictures of nature or animals? It's another way to make money.

I have, and I do have a zazzle account. I just haven't had time to focus on making products, because I am more focused on writing articles. I am refining my web design skills, including graphic designs, and once I am confident making graphics, I will begin to make products....maybe. I need another camera first...

yeah, selling at zazzle is good if you have a band or something similar to promote, but the costs run too high for the average person to make much from it. I really really want the new adobe creative suite... I could have a ton of graphic design fun with that ;)

I am still trying to get used to and figure out how to use my camera properly and upload photos online with it. I just have not had the time.

I noly have one camera I pretty much know how to work. My latest two I need to learn more about before I can use them. It's a shame too, because one of them is a much better camera.

Hi Barb! I usually use my digital camera when I want to take pictures of something or while in an event or a party or a celebration. My digital camera's resolution is much, much better than my cellphone. I only use my cellphone when I don't need a very good resolution. One thing I like about my cellphone is that I can easily connect it with my netbook and use it like a flash disk. I can also connect my digital camera to my netbook but somehow, I find it a little inconvenient. I usually upload my pictures in my Facebook account. Most of the times, I edit first some of the photos before I upload them. Some would be dark so I have to brighten them up first before letting other people see it. But I'm always eager and excited to see my pictures in a larger screen.

I agree! It's always entertaining to see things caught in the camera that you did not intentionally take!

It's exciting when some shots come out better than you expected, or something interesting you didn't notice when you took the picture turns out to be in it.

Yes, like you i love to see the result of my latest shoot. I love taking portraits of babies, views of a garden, the sky and children playing...after unloading them from the cam i download it to my blog and other social sites to share it :) I'm using both a camera phone and a sony cybetshot. When using a camera phone just use a bluetooth or use a card reader for that.

Which kind of pictures do you download to your blog? Is the blog personal or about a special subject?

Purple Bouganvillae - I have countless flowering bushes, and stuff that make good subjects for my camera
Here is yet another crazy photographer. There is never a day when I have not had a rendezvous with my beloved camera. And fortunately most of my subjects are close at home. My garden has enough of them, flowers, fruit, trees, birds and my pets - they all are ample subjects that I capture every single day on my camaera. I have uploaded my video clips and photos on youtube as also on FB.

I'd love to see them. Many of my best are on Zazzle, Gather, and Squidoo. Maybe now that I have enough points to upload with comments, I may have some of my good ones, here, too.

I take many, many pictures of my pets (3 Chihuahuas and one new kitten). I have hundreds of pictures of my dogs, past and present. This morning I already made a video of the kitten playing. I download load them as soon as possible to my computers, put them in albums then them print them in collages and different fun border. I also take picture of my friends and their pets which I print and mount in nice frames.

I have used Zazzle a few times for t-shirts and such but I really like the Kodak Gallery where I can make mugs and all kinds of articles for gifts.

Do you use any of those cute animal pictures to make Zazzle products? I never have a chance to get really unique pictures of my neighbor's pets that are worth making products out of -- but I did get a couple.

You don't have to describe it. I feel the same way about the clouds in the sky and the vineyards and the river. When you want to see your pictures, you can hardly wait because you don't know if you captured what you wanted to until you see them.

I like to take pictures too but am not really good at it. I prefer using my phone camera and upload it to the computer. Since my phone has internet I can just send the pictures to my computer through my phone internet. I store the pictures in my ovi account online.

I am a scrapbooker so I love taking photo's and love seeing how they came out. My little granddaughter also loves to take photo's and so I get them developed for her. I use a regular camera...and so does she. I gave her one just so she can do a bit more photography....she is only six and gets some very interesting photo's!

Do they still sell flim? Where do you get the pictures devleoped these days? I've still got some great 35 mm cameras, but I have no idea what to do with them now. They are big and heavy, but they are good cameras. Maybe I could get some of those night sky pictures with those.

Oh, yes, I am like a little kid. I fix them up and post them on my blog and send them to my friends and family and print them out for vacation logbooks and make stationery and notecards out of the them. I go whole hog and all out with the photos. I take most of the pictures in my garden and quite a few on trips.

Same here. Now I label them by month so I can keep track of what blooms in which months. I don't print out anything anymore, since we are getting old and there are no heirs to pass them to. I like to use them with my online writing and Zazzle.

Kitty in the Rose Garden at Veris Tasting Room in - This kitty was evidently hunting. I got several pictures of her, but never did figure out what she was hunting -- a gopher, mouse, or lizard. It could have been any of them.
I normally take my camera everywhere, but I didn't take it on my last walk becasue it was dusk and I was just walking for exercise. So for the very first time I saw a kitty who didn't run away when I got near, and she would have let me take her picture if I'd had my camera. But on my last walk before that, I did have my camera, and this kitty went about her business of being curious about this lavender plant without paying any attention to me as I took several pictures of her.

Hi ya bagarad I have always got a camera with me because I have one on my phone which is great for taking those unexpected moments. If I am taking a walk with my kids, going somewhere on holiday, taking a trip or something like all that then I will take my camera with me and use that as it is much better than the phone camera. I kinda dread uploading them onto my pc because it means I have to sort them out into different groups and stuff and there are usually alot to do by the time I get around to doing it hahha, I know, I know I should do it as go along but I just never seem to get around to it humph!

My I-MAC uploads them to iPhoto, and the programs organizes them by events and auto splits the events for me if there is a time break between one group of pictures and the next. Then all I have to do is name the event. When I have time , I go back and label the most important pictures, and edit ones I want to share.

I like the grapes' photo. It's a nice picture. Although a cellphone can make good photos I think a camera can do it better. I guess you are living on a place with much green. That's beautiful. Keep taking nice photos.

Those aren't my grapes. They are from a vineyard down the street from me. I live where there are many vineyards. There is hardly anyplace on my land I can stand without seeing someone's vineyard, since I'm surrounded by vineyards on all sides

Honestly, the vast majority of the pictures that I take are pictures of my children because they are such an important part of my life. In fact, every aspect of my life revolves around my children. With that said, this year when it was my birthday, the one thing that I really wanted was a camera that I could put in my purse and carry around with me all the time. I did get it and it has been a great thing because I never miss photographic opportunities anymore.

I think that's especially important when you have children. When I had my children at home, I took a lot more pictures and kept them in albums, and the kids had their albums, too. I often saw my son looking at the albums and remembering all the fun things we did as a family and all the places we went. Even now when I see pictures, they bring back memories I might have forgotten without the visual reminder.
