The Perfect Host. anyone seen it?

Has anyone seen this movie called The Perfect Host? I seen it advertised on another DVD we rented and been wanting to see it ever since. Its a Psychological thriller. I love those. David Hyde Peirce is the star and I love him also. the kids were going to rent it for me but it seems maybe it wasnt such a hit because they couldnt find it on red box or blockbuster. so, today they found it on sale at walmart and gifted me with it. 
It was even better then i thought it would be. must be something wrong with me cause i liked it but obviously not many did or something. have you ever watched a movie and wondered why you liked it so much but it didnt seem to be popular? if you like thrillers, id recommend it.

I learned early on that what others dislike in movies is a go ahead for me to view it. I have found that most people do not like something and it turns out I do. I do enjoy thrillers and sadly have not heard about this one, so I will want to check it out too.
I have this one friend that I can always rely on to give me her honest opinion about movies. She usually hates all the ones I mention and that is good enough for me as it prompts me to see it. I always end up loving them, so whatever I am doing basing it on her dislikes always seems to work that I end up loving them. lol

so maybe you like what i like. how about MR. Brooks and Hide and Seek? those are ones similar that it seemed only i thought was great thrillers. id advice you watch this one I loved it. @hardworkinggurl (37063)

I have not watched it. It could have been it was so popular because it was out of stock. That does often happen. When my husband was alive and well, we would go to Block Busters and rent movies especially those that we were not sure would be good enough to buy, and find that the ones we really wanted were out of stock. Oh I have watched movies that I considered good, but was not that popular, but most of the time, it was Tv shows that I wished that would have lasted longer and then found out it was cancelled after one year and yet the show that the actress left was not that good, but lasted five to seven years.

I am a great science fiction fan, but it has to be intelligent. That is why I love Fringe. It answers the what if? And with some movies, even the girl flicks, they have to a story behind them and not just fun and games. But I do not like boring and certainly not movies that are too happy about immorality. There has to be consequences.

I often love the movies the critics dislike. I am proud of me for being an independent thinker. It does sound like a cool movie. Your kids did good.

the kids found it on sale at walmart for 13 dollars. they couldnt find it for rent any where. but maybe in your area. it was kind of funny also.

I think that the majority of people that give reviews of movies are not reviewing the same movie that I've watched because it seems like the majority of the time when the reviewers say that a movie is a must see, I feel like it was a complete waste of my time while when they say that a movie is trash, it is something that I could watch over and over again.
With that said, this is a genre of movie that I like so I will have to find it and check it out for myself.

yes thats it . i just watched the trailor part again. and laughed. i definately need to watch again soon. glad i own it now.
