We'll be night swimming in a private pool tonight and I'm just so excited to swim again! I have not gone swimming for a long time not to mention night swimming! I think the last one was last, last month.
It's always good to swim at night rather than swim during the day. Well, that's my preference. The last time I went day swimming, I got darker than I can imagine! Too many people have noticed that my skin complexion got a lot darker. And it took me a long time to get my original complexion back. I was really wondering why that happened because I applied a lot of sunblock. And my friends who swam under the sun longer than me have regained their complexion easily compared with me. .

ooh i am so jealous. i wish i could swim too but i think i can barely float
we have indoor pools in our school so getting burnt is not a problem. But yes I did get absolutely dark last year when we went to the beach haha it was funny, like I was wearing an invisible swimsuit hahha!

I've had those tan lines, too! It looked funny but it also looked ugly.
Oh, you do not know how to swim?

That's unfortunate! I can teach you! You can pay me the $5 you earned from washing the dishes in your home.

I am not fond of night swimming unless its a natural hot spring. I myself hates being darkened by sun rays so I avoid its ultraviolet rays to. While it is true that the sun can darken our skin when we swim during the day I think we just have to know exactly what time we should swim during the day. I do swim during the early morning while the sun has just risen and its rays are still cold. I'd start from 6 to 8 in the morning and when I noted the sun is getting hot I'd go out of the pool and take some rest. I'd return to the pool in the late afternoon when the sun is no longer hot and about to set in few hours.

I like swimming in the early morning, too. But usually, I prefer 5-7 in the morning and not later than that.

In the beach it would surely be dark, Jill. But in a swimming pool, there would always be enough lights to light the pool up to the bottom.

I LOVE night swimming. I remember going to Palm Springs and the temperature and water were warm. There was a full moon and lots of stars and it was heavenly.
I avoid day swimming too because I don't sun tan anymore..those days of burns and peels to get a 'healthy' looking tan are gone...

Wow.. I just remembered the time when I had my night swimming with my cousins. I really enjoyed it so much. After that fun I had, I prefer go swimming at night more often then. It is because you could not get sunburn anyway. I do love swimming even though I don't know how to swim. Its just another way to get closer with your family and other relatives right?

wow!!! its also great to swim at night .. i love swimming at night .. the atmoshphere is quiet .. no one is there to disturb you and its soo amazing . i also prefer doing swimming at night ..l because the sun rays are too sharp in the day time and im always free at 3 4 or pm and it is the time when sun is at its full form .. so better do swimming at night but after swimming just go to the bed for swimming and you will have such a peaceful sleep .. all the best with your night swimming

That's one thing I've never tried, was swimming at night (at least in open water or a river..) An Outdoor pool in Germany while I was there did night opening,so it was fun! Growing up near the River Clyde in Glasgow as a kid,I don't think anybody wanted to go in there willingly!

Oh, I think it's dangerous to swim at night in a river especially if the water flow is strong and the bottom is rocky. Also, I think it's dangerous to swim in the sea at night if there are big waves.

I also think it's more relaxing to swim at night. No need to worry about anything like getting a sunburn or anything, just pure relaxing.

You are right. It is cooler to swim at night and you don't have to worry about the sun makes you have a suntan. And sometimes it will be less crowded to swim at night. It is very comfortable. If there are many people in the swimming-pool. You can't even have a swimming.
I love China

Hi youless! If it's peak season and that's summer, it is really overcrowded in public swimming pools. That's why we choose to rent a private pool so we can have the pool for ourselves.
Hi golvine! Here in our place, there's a town popular for hot spring resorts so night swimming is not a problem for those who do not like cold water at night. And also, night swimming is allowed at public pools here.

Sometimes sunscreen doesn't block the tanning properties of the sun. It just blocks the rays that do damage to the skin. My mom told me once that when I wore sunblock I would just get a "safe tan." People here actually strive for a tan..lol. I used to want to tan when I was younger but it doesn't matter much to me anymore.
I like night swimming when it is warm enough to do so. I don't want to be cold when I get out..lol.

People always strive for what they don't have. Dark people generally wants a lighter complexion while fair people generally wants a darker complexion. I'm not much into getting light complexion but I like my original complexion which is not dark but not light either.

Hi Secretbear!
Aw! you always remind me my hometown which makes me miss the place more. I can't wait for December to come to visit our place again. Anyway, after talking about the "kinulob na itik" here we are talking about night swimming which is one of our favorite gimmick back then.
Aside from avoiding the sunburn, I also enjoy night swimming more specially with friends. Aside from swimming we can even enjoy a lot of other things in the resort like singing in videoke ( but its not for me...hehe), having fun with friends and even having some drinking session!
Now, I really missed my days in Laguna coz we are also near in Pansol. So which do you prefer for night swimming? You like hot springs?

Yup! I like hot springs because of the warm water. Even if it's cold at night I can swim if the water is warm. Videoke is one of our favorite past times when night swimming, too! Actually, we can't go night swimming if there's no videoke. lol And drinks, too. They all come together in one night. From dusk til dawn. lol
We are already suki in Miramonte.

I have always been the kind of person that likes to swim regardless of the time of day. I will swim in broad daylight or I will swim when it is dark outside as long as it is warm enough to be in the water. I pretty much grew up around a swimming pool, either having one at our home or my grandmother's house or being on a swim team. It was pretty typical for me to go from having really pale skin to being about as tan as it goes during the summer time.

Really? Does swimming at night make you less tanner? The sun does do the tanning but I always though that the Chlorine also makes you tan because it always happened to me even when I'm in the indoor pools. I remember swimming at night during my holidays in Queensland, the spa was great and warm too. My cousin tried to swim outdoors in the night by himself and he got really paranoid and scared Indoor pools are great though during the night, very warm and comforting.

Hi Triple! Swimming at night will not make you less tanner but it will not make you more tanner. I don't think chlorine has the ability to make your skin darker. Even if you swam in an indoor pool, if it's during the day, then you will likely get a darker complexion (but not that dark compared when you swam in an outdoor pool during the day).

Actually i did not heard about night swimming because in public swimming pool they allow for day on and i do not have private swimming pool. But i guess that instead of day in night it might be cool because in day there is sun. So i think me will enjoy swimming at night and if possible i will do night swimming and get the experience

Here, night swimming is actually popular, may it be in public or private swimming pool resorts and even in beaches.

I have always swan in the daytime and I would really like to try swimming in the night time. After dark in a tropical country there wouldn't be the danger of getting sun burnt. None of my friends have got a private swimming pool but it must be fantastic to do so. I am keen on swimming and at my local beach swimming isn't possible due to sinking mud and dangerous tides. Therefore I go swimming at my local sports center. I would like to go back to Colombia and sleep in a hammock and go swimming in then sea one dark evening. To look up at the stars would be magical. My skin burns easily so in the day time in a tropical location I wear suncream and sunblock.

I burn in the sun, so tanning would be preferable for me. But they even say that tanning can be dangerous.
I like swimming in the evening because I don't have to worry about getting sun burned.

I used to swim outdoors when I was a child so my complexion was so dark. Nowadays, I swim indoors. I also love swimming during night time because the water is lukewarm. Its more relaxing to swim at night than day.

In the pool where we went night swimming to, the water was warm even if it was a cool night. The town where the resort was located is known for hot spring resorts.
