I was as heavy as 65 kg in the last 2 years but now I'm down to 58 kg! It's so fulfilling to sheds pounds and everyone around seems to notice!
It's not easy I can tell you that. But when you see results, best feeling ever!
How about you? What are you're goals about health and well-being that you'd like to share? I wanna know that I'm not alone :-)

Hello 7thspring!
Congratulations to you as you are able to lose weight! I wonder, what do you do to lose weight? Do you have a diet? Exercise? Are you using a supplement?
Anyway, I hope you will be able to continue your journey in losing weight, not just to have a sexier body but to have a healthier life.
Have fun posting!

Congratulations! I am fighting the weight all my life, and sometimes it feels that it is a life of deprivation, but like in everything we have to find a balance.I know that I will never be one of those skinny women, but as long as I feel good, healthy,I try to keep it there.I know that I would like to drop 10 lbs,and I find that very hard.I work out hard, but since I was an athlete(swimmer) for many years,my body requires more effort than others. And I wish that I did not love bread sooooo much!So you definitely are not alone!!! Keep up the good work!

Congratulations! My plan is to enjoy myself. I intermingle the junk and the good food but usually more junk. I am slowly trying to do better. I take a good multi-vitamins and am concious of needing to do better. I do enjoy rich desserts though and I will not stop that. Hehehe

I am very happy for you, my friend! You are belong to a small percentage of people that had successfully shed their pound to a mangeable level, you deserve a pat on your shoulder by me, without strong willand determined personal committment on your part, you will not be able to lose weight base on my personal observation, you should be proud of yourself and the new look you have now; that at least you can enjoy the surprises on everyone face whenever some of your friends began to take notice it is a new 7thspring standing in front of them.

I keep my diet strict and self discipline is the best way to lose weight.
It would be hard from the first attempt esp with dieting process, but on the process you will get used to small amount food intake.
I am able to lost 5 kilos in a month thru diet alone since I am too lazy to exercise.
Still I want to lose another 5 kilos and hope to reach my desired weight soon.
Have a good day

Wow. I'm following the same routine. But I really love exercise. Once you eat a lot, it's really difficult to give up on food. But then, as long as you motivate yourself, sooner or later you'll reach your goals. It can't happen overnight. A matter of time is all it takes. :)

It's a good feeling, right? Congratulations and keep that up! I know what you feel. I'm now currently in my desired weight and before, I struggled with a little fat, after a few dieting, I felt that fulfilling feeling. It feels as if my self-confidence greatly increased!

Looking at the photos after my stay at my daughter's house for Christmas 2010 I was horrified to see how much weight I had put on.
I had turned 60 just before Christmas and I was really feeling the extra weight that I had piled on over the last 18 months to two years.
I knew that the only way I could possibly lose the weight was to return back to Weight Watchers and attend meetings, in my opinion the only sure way of losing the weight.
I have had a long association with Weight Watchers and became a gold member in 1981 after losing 9 stone. Sadly age, health and family problems had taken their toll and here I was - 30 years later - bigger than ever!!
I decided to follow the new ProPoints system and really love it, I have now lost 77lbs and feeling so much better.

Wow! 77lbs is really something! Yeah sometimes we don't notice and we forget about being conscious about our weight until we hear the sad news from other people. Sometimes, we use denial just so we can protect our ego, but the best thing to do is admit that we need interventions, so we can fix our ways. Best of luck for us!

Hi there!
You're not alone. Growing up,I love to eat too. I gained weight steadily during high school because I just couldn't stop eating and I don't do exercise. But I have to choose whether to eat much or to stay on a healthy weight. I chose the latter. Being light makes you feel good about yourself. It's a long-term sense of fulfillment.
On the other hand, eating much will make you feel good only when you get full but when you see the bulge around your mid-section, it makes you feel bad.
I believe that everything should be done in moderation. So just eat right then burn the calories by exercising. It's really fun! And try being around people who aren't overweight. This can give you a sense of motivation to lose weight. If others can do it, why can't you.

Congratulations! That's a great accomplishment! Keep up the good work. It's a lifestyle change & as long as you adopt healthy habits, you will continue to lose weight & keep it off. it's different for everyone too. (eat 6 meals a day, no carbs, protein only...)For me, I cut out fast food, eat as little processed food as possible, eat fresh and organic as much as possible and go hiking once a week. i know I can lose more if I worked out more, but i have little time to do that with working and commuting to that job. But, it's better than nothing, and I have seen results!

Glad to hear you made it! It is really not an easy task to lose weight. Besides strict diet, you need strong determination to realise it. I have been trying to lose weight, but to no avail. I have not skip any of my meals, but did reduce the portion. Do you mind sharing any of you good tips to us?

Wow, that's awesome, I'm 70kg myself, but I'm exercising and trying to stay away from those blasted sweets (I got sidetracked after a months of sales on Oreos, they've been my addiction for years!) But now I"m getting back on track and hopefully I'll go down to 60kg by Christmastime :-)
Best wishes in your endeavour!
