Many of us experience dreaming about different things and situations. But have you ever wondered why are you dreaming of those stuffs? Do you believe that these dreams have their own interpretations and meanings? Well, for me.. somehow, I believe on this idea but it only applies to some of my weird dreams. I actually have a book of interpretations of dreams. I got it from my sister. Whenever, I had a very weird dream, I just scan on it and read what it says. Then afterwards, I'll decide if I'll believe on what I have read or not.
Well, that is my opinion .. How about yours? Do you also believe on this??

I don't think they mean anything. I believe they just like clips from what happened to us before, only it was put together randomly.
And I read this article before that we can actually control our dreams, only if we are aware that we are dreaming.

Actually there are stages of sleep. I also read an article about it. And indeed, the moment you will have your deep slumber, dreams or different dreams tend to start occurring. The last dream that make it to the time that you are about to wake up will only be remembered by you. Well, I just noticed that among all the people commented on my post, you are the only one that said that dreams doesn't mean anything. Well, I actually believe on this, too.

Really? I didn't had time reading the other comments here. LOL.
I used to believe too that dreams have special meanings but not anymore. What I do recall is that the dreams that we had during the stage 4 of sleep (last stage of non-rapid eye movement), we could not recall those dreams when we wake up. Only those we saw during the REM period or vice versa. haha. Not so sure. xD
Have a nice day! :)

I believe that few dreams are giving us a sign and meaning or explanation why a certain case happened or an advance warning for future circumstances.Only few people are having this kind of ability.I could consider it a blessed people for those who can dream and interpret. There are dreams that coming from imagination or because you are tensed on daytime thus a nightmare or so happened.

Sometimes the word dream may mean hope that may or may not come true and associating to the dream you are referring the meaning is so close because a dream while you sleep may or may not give us a true sign.In fact some dreams have opposite meaning.

Thanks ate zearah.. I know right. I also believe on that some dreams are the opposite to what is really happening in real life. Though sometimes dreams do not mean anything to a person, too. We must also keep on mind that we should not be very conscious on what we dreamed of.

You're right. I had also read an article that states that dreams are only the results of our previous acts. I also agree with you zearah that it can also give warnings in life. I also admire those who can interpret their dreams without difficulty. Dreams are indeed amazing when it brings you happiness but could also bring fear if it turns to be a nightmare. It actually excites me every time I sleep. I sometimes think of what my dream could be. However, I always pray for good things to be dreamed of.
Thanks a lot for the comment. I really appreciate it zearah.. :)

I, too believe on these. Actually its up to us if we will take our dreams to be the warnings in our lives. Some still believe that it does not make sense at all. However, I still try interpreting my dreams sometimes. It also help me a lot especially when I am making a crucial decision.

The majority of our dreams are games played by our brain as we sleep. The brain uses our past memories, wishes, and desires to create pleasant scenes.
A few dreams carry a message. Most of the time the dreams need to be interpreted to unravel a hidden meaning. The meaning may be opposite to the scenario in the dream.

I also believe on that.. some dreams seemed to be the irony of the reality. I just can't help myself thinking of my dream that just occurred few nights ago. Sometimes what we think unconsciously makes our dreams. I even use that dream of mine to make a decision of a proposal that was made by my friends. Proposal of a business.. Just yesterday.. I made my decision about their proposal. I hope I had correctly interpreted what my dream was trying to say..

It is said in psychology books that dreams are the language of subconscious. So I'm trying to think back all dreams in the day and write them down. This would be a possible way to know more about myself and analyze myself. I usually dream of falling from the height, or running away as something terrible are behind, sometimes I dream of very beautiful scenery but I couldn't take the pictures etc. I could explain all this at present.

some say dreams are only the results of our everyday's activities. I also believe that dreams are just nothing. It does not represent an idea at all. But there are also dreams that do make you realize a lot of things. Maybe one day, someday.. it will all gonna make sense.. we might not know..

I believe our dreams tells us something of the past or the future. We may fear something but, not know what it is while awake yet our dreams will tell us. I have a dream book but, sometimes I don't feel it's related to my dreams but, sometimes it does make sense.

I also have one. I sometimes consult on it if I am so confused on what does my dream really mean. However, it is up to my decision if I'll believe on it. Sometimes, dreams reflect our imagination. That is why it is also believed to tell what our future will be. Hmm.. sounds exciting. I just hope we could really interpret our dreams right.

The evidence seems strong that some dreams have personal meaning, some are simply sorting impressions. The important thing is the term "personal". Nobody, and that means authors of dream analysis books especially, can interpret your dream, only you can, because it is based on the imagery of your personal unconscious. There are several systems for analysis, all of which have some value.
There is an old psychiatric saying: people who are in Freudian analysis have Freudian dreams, people in Jungian analysis have Jungian dreams, and people in Adlerian therapy have Adlerian dreams. Our experience of the world often reflects the influences under which we find ourselves. The categories we use to define an experience often determine it.

Definitely you're right. Our own selves should only interpret our own dreams. But I think it could go biased sometimes. Maybe in instance that you don't want to interpret this way or the other way. You may also be denying something. With that you could manipulate what your dreams should mean. However, I do love interpreting my dreams on my own. Anyway, thanks for the things you've shared. It made me realize a lot of things. Have a great day ahead Lash..:)

I believed that some dreams has meaning or giving us a warning.
Or something to remind us.
Some dreams are just result of previous situation that happens recently and we keep thinking that it haunt us in our dreams.
Some people who experience that their dreams relates in real life can prove that.
I also have few dreams that happened in real life.
have a good day

You're right. Sometimes, dreams are base on the incidents that has happened recently on our lives. That is why some idea of our dreams are close to our real world. Maybe some dreams give us warning. But I also believe that it also gives us realizations. It feels so good that dreams could do that, right. Thanks a lot for your thoughts. I really appreciate it. :)

I believe that every dream has an interpretation or meaning. We may not always understand what it means or stands for. I don't know that i believe someone else has the wisdom to interpret your dream for you. Often we can come up with our meaning for our dream. Whether it is right or not time will tell.

I indeed admire those who could interpret dreams easily. However, sometimes we tend to interpret it on our own. I then think that isn't it too biased if we interpret it on our own? Maybe. However, I still like interpreting my dreams by myself. Thank you for your thoughts. It was highly appreciated. :)

Dreams can be anything, they can be really random or recount a memory that you cherished. A teacher once told me that your dreams are basically pieces of your memories combined together. It could be something you saw, heard or experienced. I sometimes find myself dreaming about a movie I've seen if I keep thinking about it before I sleep. For me though, if I see a person who I recognize in my dream, it's a cue that I might see that person very soon when I'm awake. That's my interpretation, it seems to happen all the time for me. Dreams hold all different meanings for different people.

I get your point. And I also appreciate the things you've shared. Yes, its true. Dreams are the combination on what we have just experienced in life. We interpret these things based on our own views. Though, some people look for interpreters just to keep their selves at ease regarding what they have dreamed of. Thanks a lot for your thoughts. I think you too believe on deja vu? am i right?

I strongly believe that dreams are sometimes are interpretations and meanings of something that is going on with our lives. I will tell you a sorry and forgive me if you don't understand it.
3years ago I broken up with my bf from 5 months even though we weren't so long together i loved him very much. So we broke up and i was running away from the pain, and i will go back to him so in order not to feel the pain.
I was really confuse on what to do he wanted to break up but i kept begging him not to because i didn't wanted to go through the pain. Then the night i had a dream i was in a dentist and their was a big line all were woman and they were pragnet and they were giving birth and coming out with their babies through the other door happily.
So i kept on asking them worrying does it hurt to the pragnet woman and they were saying "THE Pain Of A NEW LIFE Hurts" when it was my turn i woke up.
I want to a proffesionalist and he said In order for me to have a "New life"(giving birth is a new life) I must go through the pain. (pain of the pragnet woman having a baby)

Though you can't easily express what you really want to say, I still understand it. I was even amaze with what you have shared. Don't feel sorry about your english. Even if it's not that good, still you were able to deliver the message. I even appreciate the story you've presented. Indeed, it was a good example of dreams having its meaning or interpretation. I also had dreams before, and I used to interpret as my own. Good for you, because you have asked a professional or a dream interpreter, at least you know a little idea what your dream really mean. I hope I could also do that, but only if my dreams get more weird. Well, I also believe on what the interpreter had told you. You must really have a new journey or new life. Actually when you also think of it, after giving birth, a baby will be born, right? And what you would feel is happy about the baby. And base on what you have also shared, the pregnant women in your dreams are happily delivering the baby though they are in pain doing it. So I also conclude that after the pain is relief and happiness. See your life on the positive side. In life, pain is common, actually it is an interpretation that we are still alive. What i mean is that, if we feel pain, we tend to do something just to cope with it. It clearly says that we strive hard just to escape from the pain and sadness. And we tend to seek happiness in order for us to forget the pain.
Well, I hope you would be able to cope with the pain you are feeling right now. I also wish for a new life for you. May it be filled with happiness, acceptance and love. See life's beauty, there are still a lot of things to think of. We all feel sadness and pain, but keep in mind that these are the challenges that life brought on us. I know you could get through this. Be strong and optimistic.
Thanks a lot. I was really inspired with your dream. It made me realize a lot of things, too. Have a great life friend.. Keep smiling.. :)
