the bible is clear in the commandment to observe the 7th day, which happen to be the Saturday in the gentile calendar of days. Israel observed it very strictly as commanded even come to the point death for those who disobey it either openly or mistakenly. however in the turn of events. we just wake up in the morning that what is traditionally practice in the Christian religion is a first day or Sunday worship. and i just dont understand sometimes. I know the bible is telling us that the Lord Jesus resurrect at Sunday as they teach..but why change the 7th day to 1st day worship in disregard to the former way. Christian what is view on this?

I try not to make a big deal about things that are not related to one's salvation. Whether one decides to observe the 7th, 1st or 6th day as a day of rest and/or worship, I care not. As long as you are resting and worshipping God, then that is find by me.

Salvation is through Jesus Christ, not by the grace and obedience to the gospel. You don't want to be easily carried away with strange doctrines huh? And yet, you seem quite confused.

what you said is true, our salvation doesn't come in regards of days but by the grace and of our obedience to the gospel..but we christian should not be left blank with the issue that might affect our faith, otherwise we will be easily carried away with strange doctrine thrown against us...

are we held up to what our time have accepted in this issue, well i,m just curious about this query, though i found some reason that may suffice my curiosity, this remain still a question to me... i know to worship any day is as good as if you worship on the 7th day as it was always specified..but does it really satisfied the reason behind the changing of this ancient statutes? won't we find ourselves in transgression of this law? and if this law is no more in effect why the other still do so as claimed?

Arnold, I don't think you understand what all these people has responded. They said that it doesn't matter anymore what day you regard as Sabbath. As long as you keep one day to praise God. It can be a Sunday or a Saturday or a Monday if you choose. Now after saying this, would you still ask why it's been moved from Saturday to Sunday? Or maybe you think of it this way. Sunday has always been Sabbath in your opinion, why it has changed from the 7th day of the week to the 1st day of the week? Well, sorry to pop your bubble, but the Saturday has been the real Sabbath, which is in essence the 7th day of the week. Sunday wasn't moved. Sabbath is the one they moved.

Clearly the Apostles of the New Testaments started doing this on Sunday. See Acts 20:7, and 1 Cor 16:1-2 I will trust them that this is correct.

yes they gather at the first day of the week that's very clear and there's no question about that..what is intriguing to me is why should there be a law changing the 7th day with the 1st day. why not go ahead and make your worship on the 1st day but leave the 7th day as it is and not touch the divine law of rest. why not go back in history what happen when they enact this law, there i can say that many did not agree with this and some are made martyrs in opposition to this changes..remember that satan and the antichrist working as the mystery of iniquity is already working at that point of time and the Bible says it will change law and season...

Please read the book of Galatians in the New Testament. Actually, for me, as I understand it, as a Christian, our Sabbath is Jesus Christ Himself, its not a day anymore. During the early years of the Christian church, Sunday was the best time to congregate with each other. And also, Christian were saved thru Jesus' sacrifice, not in obeying the Law, because if we are still binded to the Law, then we still have no salvation. That is why as a Christian, my Sabbath is the Lord Jesus Christ. I suggest you really read the book of Galatians, it has to do with the Law and salvation thru Jesus.

there is no argument of what you have point out in Galatians. Christians are not under the law but it doesn't give us the authority to replace the 7th day with the 1st day just to show that we're no longer under the Law.
