I know there is a sea of procedural police shows and this is one of many, but I always found it appealing. I don't know if it is that Agatha Christie quality where a writer with a shrewd mind solves cases or the fact that I really like seeing the characters. The fact that Nathan Fillion has this all encompassing presence on screen or the relationship with Beckett(Stana Katic) which has this quality to it. The first episode had a lot to take in, but one thing I would not have expected was the hospital scene. Unlike a great deal of other shows or movies, Kate is not in a snazzy state of the art surgery and when she is taken to recovery she goes to a ward not a private room and she looks like she is in a hospital, not like she woke up after a day at the spa.
Not to give too much away but the story of why Kate got shot became a lot more complicated and they still had time to deal with a murder investigation. Now my question, do you think their lives will go on as they did before, or will the fact that they both have secrets change their relationship?
