It happens to me early this month.
I am not able to log in to my account and it says that my account was compromised.
I was advised to changed my password and i follow the instruction and after few days it happens again.
So, this month I changed my password twice due to compromised account.
I hope it won't happen again or else I will be forced to closed my yahoo account and changed it.
have a good day

It is a glitch with yahoo jaiho and nothing to do with our account. I wasted 3 hours yesterday. Did all the trapeze acts but the mail box finally opened on its own.

I'm in the US and have had no problems accessing Yahoo mail and did so less than a minute ago.
A few ways to weed out possible problems
- Reboot your computer
- Try accessing it through a different browser (if you usually use IE, try Firefox and vice versa)
- Run a virus/malware scan
This has happened to me a few times with both Yahoo and Hotmail/Live Mail in the past and when I reinstalled the browser it worked fine.
Good luck!

I could open the site but not my mail. I did whatever I could including scanning the entire pc - no viruses.Another browser no luck. I even changed my password. It took me over 3 hours to do all this but all of a sudden my inbox opened. I am not able to say why it had not opened for so many hours. Thanks for your effort.

Likely it was having a small hiccup in the account. That happens a bit too often. Yahoo tends to be rather good a lot of the time but there are times where it has its problems. Problems that prevent me from accessing it. Given that I don't use my Yahoo account often, it's really not the worst thing in the world but it can be a pain to say the least when you kind of need it.

Did you miss your whip? I had taken it to use it on yahoo and now it is behaving ok! For three hours this morning I had trouble. I did everything that I thought was necessary but suddenly my inbox opened.

I haven't had any trouble in signing in to my Yahoo Mail today. And actually, I never encountered this kind of problem before.
Rather than trouble in sign in, I ever encountered a problem in sign out. I can't signed out at that time . It always gave "Request time out" page..
Well, but now it is just being fine, and maybe it was only temporary problem.
Anyway which kind of problem that you encountered?
1. You can't open mail.yahoo.com ?
2. You can open mail.yahoo.com and enter your username+password, but they said you entered an incorrect combination of username+password?
3. Same as number 2, but instead of giving a warning message, it is just load too slow OR it directs you to a blank page?
4. Others .. ?
I am just a little curious about this, hehe :)

My user name and ID was accepted but after that it started playing up. I made several attempts but in vain. Then I scanned my pc (2 hours) for viruses - there were none, changed my password, reloaded, reloaded, reloaded...............and then it opened. Some work this

I am fine with mine, but husband tried about fifteen minutes ago and cannot. He shut down the computer and went to bed. It is late here.

I used to have issue trying to get yahoo up all the time, and I changed browsers to mozilla firefox. I don't have the problem anymore. Maybe you could try that. If it isn't that, try to get in touch with yahoo and they will do something.
In the past when I was having an issue, I contacted them and in a couple of days it was fine for a while.

Yeah. I know what you mean. It gets very aggrivating and frustrating when we have problems like that. It really kept me upset in the past when I was having those issues. I about lost it. Finally yahoo got it straightened out. Now I just use Mozilla Firefox. Glad it straightened itself out for you!

This was the first for me chrystal and it took me to my tethers end. Finally it worked on its own. It is Yahoo all the way I suppose is responsible for this and nothing to do with our account or browsers. Yahoo is my default home page and there is far too much in there that I cannot even think of using my other accounts for certain activities.
