Why do you run?

Running man - Proper running techniques are important to every runner, whether you run a few miles a week to maintain your weight or you're a serious runner, regularly training for long-distance races. Proper running technique can help you improve your overall speed, reduce the amount of energy your body expends when running and reduce your likelihood of injury.

Hi mylot members, I would like to ask all of you today a question - Why do you run? Is it because you would like to get Guinness World Record or some kind of medal so that you can boast to your friend how great or awesome you are? To me, it's an absolute no. One of the reason why running is under hobbies is because most of the people nowadays run to relax, and the bonus will be the prize/medal you won. Some people would wonder why, people saying running is relaxing when it is tiring after a long period of time. Running can help you clear off your stress and you can explore the world with it; It is not an expensive sports, all you need is just comfortable accessories that is suitable for the place you are running on and mind. It does not matter how slow you go, as long as you continue. That is one of the reason I respect disabled runners, even though they are having troubles with running they still persevere and managed to finish the race. I know that I am young and have not much experience to talk to the society yet, but I believe some of the people do understand and start training from young is something that will benefits you in future. Please support us at www.itch2run.blogspot.com, do comment or recommend to your friend, we really appreciate people giving their opinions. I hope you all find what I have said meaningful, and enjoy reading. :)

That's right! I try to job at least for half an hour everyday, it keeps me warm in cold and windy days and also keeps me feeling happy. Running is a good start in exercising and losing weight. It keeps your blood and heart pumping. I also read somewhere that every time you run, your brain releases these happy chemicals that makes you feel fit and happy. I realized when I had a bad day, running helps me relieve the stress and depression. It makes me study way better too after a good long jog, it truly refreshes the mind and body.

I run mainly for health and fitness purposes. I like the idea of being active and doing something that can help me live longer. I also do it to challenge my body and my limits.
