Reliving the 19th Century in England

Yes, this is a period piece before the Industrial Revolution. The town of Cranford is mostly controlled by ladies and revolves around their exploits, triumphs and tragedies. Starts a bit slow and drabby and picks up from there. Judy Dench stars admirably. Then there is Francisca Annis and Kimberly Nixon. You would love it if you fancy Jane Austen's novels. Great watch if you have the time.
