First of all, welcome to mylot.
I am kind of a newbie here too. I am here just for 2 weeks. As probably you did, I came here because of the money, but I am still here because all the other things: the fun, the apprentice, the friends and much more.
I was hoping to get more money here too, but as other people said above, you have chance to find other sites to get money with other people here.
Other important thing to notice is that you are not investing yur money, just time, so your earning will be lower. Happy mylotting.

I know that sites who usually asks you to invest money are normally scam, but you can use your money to invest in other sites or things.
For example, if you have money, you could buy thing to sell in Ebay. There are lot of other ways to do it. Happy mylotting.

Yeah I started a discussion about ebay buying ans reselling but I feel like I should do some more research I really don't have a lot of money I only got 2 dollars in my checking account :)

As a beginner, that is excellent. As you continue on, you will gain more experience. The more time and effort you can devote to placing postings and responding to postings , the more you will be earning. Further more, if you successfully complete the tasks offered, that will enhance your earnings.

oh i thought that was how many friends I've made, well i like to talk to hopefully I'll be posting more and I recently join a blog website so I can add it on here and going to start a video series and link my website on my profile. so buy doing more you gain more?

Adding friends will not earn you a thing. We do not earn for adding friends. Adding friends just allows them to get your started discussions. Where it is possible that they will then respond to your discussions. Keep in mind you will not earn for anyone responding to your discussions. You only earn if you type/comment back to the responses.
Here is what the FAQ says about how to increase your earnings:
"Use myLot, post discussions, respond to discussions, comment on discussions, or perform searches."
"Post quality content. For example, generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and comments to other users discussions to further the topic"
"Refer friends. For each person you send to myLot you will receive a bonus equal to 25% of their discussion and image earnings."
So to answer your questions yes but not just doing more, assure that it is quality, useful and helpful information as well.

if you're consistent on posting and commenting on discussion that interest you, then you'll be fine! ^_^
We don't usually get tired of sharing our thoughts, opinion, feelings and even frustration! and you can use MyLot to earn if you wanted to share those feelings! LOL!
Free programs such as MyLot do offer low earnings, but rest assured that it is legit and paying!

Thanks and its true I always got questions so I'll be posting on and off since my classes don't start in the afternoon and I don't go to college three days out of the week so I guess I have a lot of time on my hands
