Are you in Weight Watchers?

I am joining Weight Watchers on Tuesday. Just wondering if any body out there is on the Weight Watchers plan, how are you doing? I need to lose a tremendous amount of weight. From what I have learned about online I am pretty sure I can do this. Any advise? Any encouragement?

First of all, good luck! Most important, with no matter what you choose to follow for a plan, it is going to take self discipline. Weight Watchers has done well for people that I know but I have also seem some fail. If you are really ready to loose the weight you will do great. Just keep yourself disciplined and exercise regularly. There is a great site called sparkpeople that has a lot of recipes and motivation for getting healthy and loosing weight.

Oh I know Sparkpeople is fantastic or it used to be haven't been there in awhile. I wasn't this serious about the weight issue when I joined there. I am real serious now and totally focused. Gosh I even dusted off the wii and broke out the fitness set for the WII. I am both excited and nervous about tuesday.

Good for you! There is nothing better than to take control of ourselves. You sound very excited about the journey you are about to embark on. It is scary and intimidating but once you get on a roll, you just keep feeling better about it. I have been on a healthy path for about a year now and am working hard to loose the weight put on after my babies. May I offer a suggestion? Throw away the scale! If you don't have a scale you don't become weight obsessed. Go with how you feel and you will have better luck. Let the improvements you see and feel encourage you!

I think that with Weight Watchers help you will lose all the weight that you want to. I know that they will suggest monitoring how many calories you eat and drink. They may suggest your diet becomes rich with many vegetables and fruit. Last week I went to see a health and diet trainer and she looked at a meal diary from the previous week. We came up with a plan to limit the amount of fruit juice I have because it has loads of sugar in and to stop eating my fruit and seed bars. She suggested I eat fruit instead of the bars. She mentioned I could drink vita which is coconut water or fruit teas. Good luck.

oh wow!! good for you to realize you needed to lose your weight and that you want to have go on it too. i think the best is to watch what you are eating, plan your meals ahead of time, bring packed meals you prepared so you stick to the plan and do not forget to exercise.
